Nomura ha realizzato del Baldios anche una versione Deluxe venduta in un bellissimo box con vetrinetta espositiva. Ecco diciamo che in questo caso, la parola “bello” si limita per lo più solo al Box. Il Baldios Deluxe è all’unanimità inserito nella top 10 dei diecast più brutti realizzati in Giappone. Il robot una volta assemblato è sicuramente imponente. E’ realizzato in metallo e plastica (un po’ troppa) e raggiunge un’altezza di circa 28 centimetri. Come si può vedere però nella foto in questa pagina, non è particolarmente proporzionato. Le gambe sono troppo lunghe rispetto a busto e braccia e complessivamente è troppo squadrato.

Nomura has also created a Deluxe version of the Baldios sold in a beautiful box with display case. Here we say that in this case, the word "beautiful" is mostly limited only to the Box. Baldios Deluxe is unanimously included in the top 10 of the ugliest diecasts made in Japan. Once assembled, the robot is certainly impressive. Ma proprio questa sua “bruttezza” lo ha reso un pezzo must per i collezionisti. E’ infatti un robot abbastanza comune e quasi tutti in collezione lo hanno. In ogni caso è da apprezzare l’impegno profuso dalla Nomura nel realizzare all’epoca il suo primo giocattolo robotico in versione Deluxe.  Superato il “primo impatto” si può notare come non assemblato ma lasciato nel box il Baldios non sia poi così male, soprattutto la vetrinetta nera che lascia

intravedere il contenuto della scatola è molto bella e di impatto. Analizzando nel dettaglio il box si nota subito che il robot dispone di parecchie armi di

diverso tipo come spade, asce, scudo e tirapugni che possono essere impugnati, oppure missili di varie dimensioni da poter sparare tramite cannoncini a molla. La trasformazione delle tre astronavi in Baldios è apprezzabile in quanto si svolge esattamente come si vedeva nel cartone animato.

Baldios Deluxe è abbastanza comune come diecast da trovare.  Solitamente si trova quasi sempre in box (magari non completissimo) ma molto raramente si trova loose. Nonostante tutto mantiene da anni un prezzo molto alto.
