Baxinger è il robot protagonista dell’anime. Si tratta del secondo mecha tratto dalla trilogia “Super Robot J9” [gli altri sono Bryger (p.138) e Susaraiger (p.506)]. Nasce dalla fusione di 5 motociclette futuristiche. Grazie alla tecnologia “Plasma System”  una volta assemblato può aumentare le sue dimensioni molecolari fino a raggiungere i 48 metri e le 100 tonnellate di peso.

Baxinger è stato  commercializzato dalla Takatoku nel 1982. La produzione di giocattoli inerenti alla serie è stata molto elevata. Iniziamo dalla versione Deluxe. Si tratta chiaramente della più grande e costosa, chiamata anche Gasshin o Deluxe (anche se come vedremo in seguito la sigla Dx è stata apposta su un’ altra tipologia di gioco. Baxinger era venduto in un box molto curato e colorato dove spicca un bellissimo disegno del robot, mentre la foto del giocattolo assemblato è rilegata in un angolino in alto a sinistra.

It is born from the fusion of 5 futuristic motorcycles. Thanks to the “Plasma System” technology, once assembled it can in-crease its molecular dimensions up to 48 meters and 100 tons in weight. Baxinger was marketed by Takatoku in 1982. The production of toys related to the series was very high. Let's start with the Deluxe version. It is clearly the largest and most expensive, also called Gasshin or Deluxe (even if as we will see later the acro-nym Dx was placed on another type of game. Baxinger was sold in a very nice and colorful box where a beautiful drawing of the robot stands out, while the photo of the assembled toy is bound in a corner at the top left. .

Tolta la classica vetrinetta espositiva si rimane decisamente poco soddisfatti del contenuto (almeno io...). Oltre al robot già assemblato ci sono molte ruote da utilizzare per configurare le motociclette, una spada, due cannoncini e alcuni missili. Il robot è alto circa 26 cm, è realizzato prevalentemente in plastica e poco metallo ma mantiene un discreto peso in mano. Abbastanza fedele all’originale non dispone di particolari meccanismi, diciamo che si limita a poter essere solo trasformato.  

Questa versione del Baxinger si può scomporre e trasformare nelle 5 motociclette dei protagonisti dell’anime.  Il tutto avviene in modo molto basico, sostanzialmente basta inserire le ruote in dotazione, l’unica trasformazione leggermente più complessa è per la moto Reppun.  

Complessivamente non si tratta a mio avviso di un brutto robot, anzi assemblato è anche ben proporzionato, traspare però la ricerca del contenimento dei costi da parte di Takatoku per ottimizzare al massimo il rapporto costo/vendita dei suoi giocattoli a discapito della qualità. Mantiene prezzi elevati ma si trova abbastanza facilmente.

Once you remove the classic display case, you are definitely not satisfied with the contents (at least I am...). In addition to the already assembled robot, there are many wheels to use to configure the motorcycles, a sword, two cannons and some missiles. The robot is about 26 cm tall, it is made mainly of plastic and a little metal but it maintains a fair weight in the hand. Fairly faithful to the original, it does not have any particular mechanisms, let's say that it can only be transformed.

 This version of the Baxinger can be broken down and transformed into the 5 motorcycles of the protagonists of the anime. It all happens in a very basic way, basically just insert the wheels provided, the only slightly more complex transformation is for the Reppun motorcycle .

 Overall, in my opinion, it is not a bad robot, in fact, when assembled, it is also well-proportioned, but Takatoku 's search for cost containment is evident in order to optimize the cost/sales ratio of its toys to the detriment of quality. It maintains high prices but is quite easy to find.
