Carletto il principe dei mostri: Avventure tra Mostrilandia e Tokyo

Basata sul manga di Fujiko Fujio e prodotta nella sua versione più celebre nel 1980, Kaibutsu-kun (noto in Italia come Carletto il principe dei mostri) è un classico intramontabile. Il piccolo Carletto, erede al trono di Mostrilandia, si trasferisce sulla Terra per sfuggire alla noia, accompagnato dai suoi inseparabili aiutanti: il colto Conte Dracula, il forzuto e sensibile Frank e il cuoco Uomo Lupo (Wolf). Insieme al piccolo umano Hiroshi, il gruppo affronta minacce demoniache e buffi malintesi, dimostrando che non bisogna mai fermarsi alle apparenze.

L’archivio di Robot Vintage analizza la pregiata produzione diecast realizzata da Popy, che ha saputo catturare perfettamente lo stile caricaturale dei personaggi. KAIBUTSU KUN – 94 episodi – 1980
Il piccolo Carletto, principe del paese abitato dai mostri, decide di venire ad abitare sulla Terra, a Tokyo, insieme ai suoi aiutanti, Conte Dracula, Frank e Uomo Lupo, per poter avere un po’ di tranquillità. Carletto diventa presto amico di Hiroshi, un bambino intraprendente che vive con sua sorella Sis in una villa vicino alla vecchia casa dove vivono i mostri. Nel corso della serie, Carletto non solo incontra dei mostri un po’ buoni o un po’ cattivi, e fa amicizia con gli uomini, ma deve anche aiutare Hiroshi e rendere più felice la sorella del proprio amico. In tutti i vari episodi, alla presenza di Carletto e il suo trio, soprattutto in compagnia di Hiroshi, vivono un’avventura dopo l’altra in cui mostri e umani si affrontano, si capiscono, si combattono e diventano amici, ma soprattutto mirano alla salvezza del mondo dai pericoli mostruosi e demoniaci, nonostante il mondo non sia più popolato da mostri. Non c’è poi tanta differenza, se uno non si ostina a guardare le apparenze.
