General Daimos is a robot genre anime, it was broadcast from April 1, 1978 to January 27, 1979 and consists of 44 episodes. The name Daimos comes from Deimos , one of the two moons of Mars. Although in Italy it was called " Daimos the son of Grendizer", the series actually have nothing to do with each other. In fact, it was just one of the many efforts made at the time to push a new product by exploiting the fame of one that had already been known and loved for some time.

Standard version of the Daimos robot , excellently crafted in terms of proportions, paintwork and weapons. It is not transformable, it has shooting fists (there are 2 pairs) to which blades can be attached. In the legs of the robot there are 2 opening doors, inside there are 2 missile cannons.

Also reproduced in the Shogun Warriors line in 2 versions. The first has missiles like the Popy ones , the second has "star" missiles considered less dangerous and more suitable for children.

General Daimos è un’ anime di genere robotico, è stato trasmesso dal 1º aprile 1978 al 27 gennaio 1979 ed è composto da 44 episodi.  Il nome Daimos deriva da Deimos, una delle due lune di Marte. Nonostante sia stato chiamato in Italia “Daimos il figlio di Goldrake” le serie in realtà non hanno nulla a che fare l’una con l’altra. Si trattò infatti solo di una delle tante forzature fatte all’epoca per spingere un nuovo prodotto sfruttando la fama di uno ormai già da tempo conosciuto ed amato.

Versione standard del robot Daimos, ottimamente realizzato per  proporzioni, verniciature ed armi.  Non è trasformabile, dispone di pugni sparanti (presenti 2 coppie) a cui possono essere attaccate delle lame. Nelle gambe del robot ci sono 2 sportellini apribili, al loro interno ci sono 2 cannoncini spara missili.

Riprodotto anche nella linea Shogun Wariors in 2 versioni. La prima ha i missili come quelli Popy la seconda ha i missili a “stella” considerati meno pericolosi e più adatti ai bambini.
