Starwolf: Il Lupo dei Cieli
Starwolf (Sutā Urufu) è una serie televisiva di fantascienza giapponese prodotta nel 1978 dalla Tsuburaya Productions, liberamente ispirata ai romanzi dello scrittore americano Edmond Hamilton. La trama segue le avventure di Ken Shinsei (Starwolf), un giovane terrestre cresciuto sul pianeta Varna. A causa dell’altissima gravità del suo pianeta adottivo, Ken ha sviluppato una forza fisica e riflessi sovrumani. Rinnegato dai Varniani per il suo senso di giustizia, si unisce alla squadra terrestre dei “Space Commandos” a bordo dell’astronave Bacchus III per difendere la galassia dalle ambizioni di conquista del suo stesso popolo.
Il merchandising Diecast della serie fu realizzato dalla ditta POPY. Trattandosi di una serie Tsuburaya focalizzata più sull’azione sci-fi che sui robot giganti, la linea di giocattoli si concentrò principalmente sui veicoli. Il pezzo più iconico della collezione è la Bacchus III (PB-69), realizzata in metallo e dotata di carrello retrattile e lanciamissili. Furono prodotti anche modelli più piccoli e versioni “pocket” dei mezzi di supporto. Sebbene meno celebrata rispetto alle linee dedicate ai Super Robot, la serie diecast di Starwolf è molto apprezzata dai collezionisti per il design tecnico e realistico tipico delle produzioni Tsuburaya di fine anni ’70.

Star Wolf è una serie televisiva di fantascienza giapponese ispirata alla serie di un omonimo romanzo scritto da Edmond Hamilton. E ‘stato prodotto nel 1978 da Tsuburaya Productions. Lo spettacolo è liberamente ispirato i tre libri della serie di Star Wolf di American Science Fiction Novellist Edmond Hamilton: (pubblicato nel 1967) Nell’universo la popolazione è soggetta a continui saccheggio, viene per tanto istutiita una flotta di difesa. Nel corso di una missione, il proganista Ken soprannominato “Star Wolf” per la sua bravura come pilota, viene ingiustamente accusato di aver distrutto delle astronavi della flotta terrestre. Etichettato come traditore è costretto a viaggiare alla deriva nell’universo. Ormai quasi in fin di vita viene trovato e salvato dalla Baccus III una nave spaziale di mercenari ma dallanimo puro che lottano contro le ingiustizie.Inizialemnte viene considerato un traditore ed in quanto tale imprigionato ma successivamente riesce a convincere il capitano della sua innocenza che decide di darlo entrare nel suo equipaggio sotto falsa identità |

Starwolf: Wolf of the Heavens
Starwolf (Sutā Urufu) is a Japanese science fiction television series produced in 1978 by Tsuburaya Productions, loosely based on the novels by American author Edmond Hamilton. The plot follows the adventures of Ken Shinsei (Starwolf), a young Earthling raised on the planet Varna. Due to the high gravity of his adopted world, Ken developed superhuman strength and reflexes. After being disowned by the Varnians for his sense of justice, he joins the Earth-based “Space Commandos” aboard the spaceship Bacchus III to defend the galaxy against the conquest ambitions of his own people.
The Diecast merchandising for the series was produced by the POPY company. As a Tsuburaya production focused more on sci-fi action than giant robots, the toy line primarily centered on vehicles. The most iconic piece in the collection is the Bacchus III (PB-69), made of diecast metal and featuring retractable landing gear and missile launchers. Smaller models and “pocket” versions of the support craft were also produced. Although less famous than the lines dedicated to Super Robots, the Starwolf diecast series is highly valued by collectors for the technical and realistic design typical of late ’70s Tsuburaya productions.

Star Wolf is a Japanese science fiction television series based on the novel series of the same name written by Edmond Hamilton. It was produced in 1978 by Tsuburaya Productions. The show is loosely based on the three books in the Star Wolf series by American Science Fiction Novellist Edmond Hamilton: (published in 1967) In the universe the population is subject to continuous plundering, so a defense fleet is established. During a mission, the protagonist Ken nicknamed “Star Wolf” for his skill as a pilot, is unjustly accused of having destroyed spaceships of the Earth fleet. Labeled as a traitor he is forced to travel adrift in the universe. Now almost at the end of his life he is found and saved by the Baccus III a spaceship of mercenaries but with a pure soul who fight against injustice. Initially he is considered a traitor and as such imprisoned but later manages to convince the captain of his innocence who decides to let him join his crew under a false identity. |
