Choudenshi Bioman: La Rivoluzione delle Bioparticelle

Trasmessa tra il 1984 e il 1985, Choudenshi Bioman è l’ottava serie Super Sentai della Toei. La trama ruota attorno a cinque giovani infusi di “Bio Particelle”, scelti dal robot Peebo per difendere la Terra dall’impero New Gear. Bioman ha innovato il genere con una narrazione più matura e drammatica.

Il merchandising d’epoca prodotto da Popy/Bandai è iconico. Il Bio Robo DX (GC-13) è un capolavoro capace di scindersi nei due Bio Jet, affiancato dalla versione ST e dalle figure dei cinque eroi. Grande successo ebbe anche la Bio Dragon, la base volante. Grazie al suo successo internazionale, la serie fu inclusa anche nella prestigiosa linea Godaikin.

Della serie Bioman, Popy ha realizzato il robot in versione deluxe e standard, tutti i personaggi e la loro base volante. La serie è stata commercializzata anche nella linea Godaikin.

BIOMAN

Proveniente dal pianeta Bio 500 anni fa , Bio Robo è un robot semi senziente che ha inondato cinque persone di bioparticelle quando è arrivato sulla Terra all’epoca del Giappone feudale. Anni dopo, Bio Robo si attiva dopo aver rilevato gli attacchi di Gear e riunisce la squadra Bioman. Si forma dai due Bio Jets quando viene dato il comando “Combine! Hyper Cross!”. Bio Robo è armato con la spada Super- Maser, e distrugge i mostri con una varietà di attacchi in particolare utilizza un attacco potenziato, il Bio Particle Slash.

RED ONE (Shingo Go)

È cresciuto credendo che suo padre fosse morto. Tuttavia, dopo aver incontrato il professor Shibata, non ne è più così sicuro. Le Bio Particelle dentro di lui gli permettono di comunicare con gli animali; rendendoli così utili nelle missioni di ricognizione.

GREEN TWO (Shingo Takasugi)

Shingo Takasugi è un pilota automobilistico. Shingo può essere molto duro con i nemici ma molto gentile con i bambini. Nonostante la sua spavalderia, ci sono momenti in cui dubita delle sue capacità. Nonostante questi dubbi, sa cosa deve fare e fa del suo meglio.

BLUE THREE (Ryūta Nanbara)

Ryūta Nanbara è uno sportivo acquatico fanciullesco e avventuroso. Ama esplorare e scoprire cose nuove. I suoi anni di immersioni lo hanno reso molto agile ed abile nelle tecniche furtive. Non può tollerare i bulli considerando che lo era.

YELLOW FOUR (Mika Koizumi e Jun Yabuki)

Mika Koizumi è la prima Yellow Four.muore per mano di Pysgorn sacrificandosi per svuotare le munizioni della pistola bio killer in modo che i suoi alleati possano combattere senza essere avvelenati dalle particelle anti-bio. Verrà sostituita da Jun Yabuki, il suo coraggio ha infatti permesso al Bioman di apprendere che anche lei è una discendente del Bioman originale.

PINK FIVE (Hikaru Katsuragi)

È dolce ma forte ed è un’amante del travestimento. Ha uno spirito insolitamente forte con un forte istinto materno. Suona il flauto per calmare il suo spirito e rafforzare la sua determinazione.

Choudenshi Bioman: The Bio-Particle Revolution

Broadcast between 1984 and 1985, Choudenshi Bioman is the eighth Super Sentai series by Toei. The story follows five youths infused with “Bio Particles,” chosen by Peebo to protect Earth from the New Gear empire. Bioman revolutionized the genre with a more mature and dramatic narrative.

The vintage toy line by Popy/Bandai is legendary. The Bio Robo DX (GC-13) is a masterpiece capable of splitting into two Bio Jets, complemented by the ST version and individual hero figures. The Bio Dragon carrier ship is another standout. Due to its global success, the series was also featured in the famous Godaikin line.

Hailing from the planet Bio 500 years ago, Bio Robo is a semi-sentient robot that showered five people with Bio Particles when he arrived on Earth during the time of Feudal Japan. Years later, Bio Robo activates after detecting Gear’s attacks and reunites the Bioman team. He is formed from the two Bio Jets when the command “Combine! Hyper Cross!” is given. Bio Robo is armed with the Super-Maser sword, and destroys monsters with a variety of attacks, most notably using a powered-up attack, the Bio Particle Slash.

He grew up believing that his father was dead. However, after meeting Professor Shibata, he is no longer so sure. The Bio Particles within him allow him to communicate with animals; making them useful in reconnaissance missions

GREEN TWO (Shingo Takasugi)

Shingo Takasugi is a race car driver. Shingo can be very harsh with his enemies but very kind to children. Despite his bravado, there are times when he doubts his abilities. Despite these doubts, he knows what he has to do and does his best.

BLUE THREE (Ryūta Nanbara)

Ryūta Nanbara is a boyish and adventurous water sportsman. He loves to explore and discover new things. His years of diving have made him very agile and skilled in stealth techniques. He cannot tolerate bullies considering he used to be one.

YELLOW FOUR (Mika Koizumi e Jun Yabuki)

Mika Koizumi is the first Yellow Four. She dies at the hands of Pysgorn, sacrificing herself to empty the bio-killer gun’s ammunition so that her allies can fight without being poisoned by the anti-bio particles. She will be replaced by Jun Yabuki, her courage has in fact allowed the Bioman to learn that she too is a descendant of the original Bioman.

PINK FIVE (Hikaru Katsuragi)

She is sweet but strong and is a lover of disguise. She has an unusually strong spirit with a strong maternal instinct. She plays the flute to calm her spirit and strengthen her resolve.
