God Sigma: L’Imperatore dello Spazio

God Sigma è il simbolo della potenza modulare: tre cuori meccanici che si uniscono per formare un difensore leggendario alimentato dalla Triplice Energia.

L’archivio di Robot Vintage mette in risalto la maestria di Popy nella realizzazione del modello DX (GB-18) e della sua controparte Godaikin, celebre per la sua scatola deluxe. Dalla solidità della versione ST (GB-17) alla complessità dei tre robot individuali (Tuono, Nettuno e Terremoto), ogni pezzo di questa collezione rappresenta un traguardo tecnico fondamentale per gli amanti del metallo vintage e delle trasformazioni d’epoca.


*GODMARS- GODMARZ– 64 PUNTATE – 1981*
Nell’anno 2050 la civiltà terrestre si è evoluta enormemente e pacificamente raggiungendo un alto grado di sviluppo tecnologico e scientifico. Nonostante ciò la Terra è minacciata dalla crisi energetica causata dall’alto grado di sovrappopolazione. Il dottor Kazami sviluppa a Trinity City, un’enorme base sotterranea situata nel mezzo dell’oceano, la Triplice energia, una fonte di energia pulita ed inesauribile e costruisce tre robot sperimentali (Tuono, Nettuno e Terremoto) alimentati con questa energia e destinati all’esplorazione dello spazio. I tre robot sono inoltre in grado di congiungersi per formare God Sigma, un robot estremamente potente. L’Impero di Helda desideroso di impadronirsi dell’energia Trinity invia il proprio esercito al comando del Generale Terral per invadere la terra. Questo si stabilisce in una base su Joa La lotta tra gli Heldiani ed i loro robot Cosmosauri e God Sigma si protrae a lungo, ma quando è ormai giunta in fase di stallo giunge un’astronave dallo spazio profondo che distrugge l’avamposto dell’Impero Helda e ne assume il controllo. Sono gli Heldiani del XXIV secolo tornati indietro nel tempo per impedire che il proprio esercito del passato venga sconfitto. Il dottor Kazami affascinato dalla possibilità di viaggiare nel tempo imprigiona segretamente il generale Terral ed inizia a torturarlo, viene però scoperto dai tre piloti che allibiti lo rinchiudono in isolamento. Partono quindi alla volta di Joa (con tutta la base Trinity) in risposta alle richieste d’aiuto dei sopravvissuti terrestri ancora rimasti in vita su tale pianeta. I combattimenti si fanno via via più duri e, nei pressi di Marte, God Sigma e la base Trinity si salvano solo grazie all’aiuto del generale Terral. Nell’episodio 47 (La ribellione di Kazami), quando Trinity e God Sigma raggiungono Giove, il Comandante Supremo Laghan ordina l’attacco di massa di tutto l’esercito, tutto pare ormai perduto per i terrestri quando il dottor Kazami riesce a liberarsi ed impadronendosi della sala comandi propone all’esercito di Heldan di scambiare il segreto dell’energia di Trinity per quello del viaggio del tempo. L’accordo fallisce e Kazami verrà ucciso dagli Heldiani. Giulian però riesce ad inventare un potente cannone laser, alimentato dall’energia di Trinity e con questo riescono a distruggere l’astronave degli Heldiani, permettendo a God Sigma di sopraffare l’esercito nemico e riportare la pace sulla terra.

In the year 2050, Earth’s civilization has evolved enormously and peacefully, reaching a high level of technological and scientific development. Despite this, Earth is threatened by the energy crisis caused by the high level of overpopulation. Doctor Kazami develops the Triple Energy, a clean and inexhaustible source of energy, in Trinity City, a huge underground base located in the middle of the ocean, and builds three experimental robots (Thunder, Neptune and Earthquake) powered by this energy and intended for space exploration. The three robots are also able to join together to form God Sigma, an extremely powerful robot. The Helda Empire, eager to seize the Trinity energy, sends its army under the command of General Terral to invade Earth. This is established in a base on Joa The fight between the Heldians and their Cosmosaur and God Sigma robots drags on for a long time, but when it reaches a stalemate, a spaceship arrives from deep space, destroys the Helda Empire outpost and takes control of it. They are the Heldians of the 24th century who have come back in time to prevent their army from the past from being defeated. Doctor Kazami, fascinated by the possibility of time travel, secretly imprisons General Terral and begins to torture him, but is discovered by the three pilots who, stunned, lock him in isolation. They then leave for Joa (with the entire Trinity base) in response to the calls for help from the Earth survivors still alive on that planet. The fighting becomes increasingly tough and, near Mars, God Sigma and the Trinity base are saved only thanks to the help of General Terral. In episode 47 (Kazami’s Rebellion), when Trinity and God Sigma reach Jupiter, Supreme Commander Laghan orders a mass attack by the entire army, all seems lost for the Earthlings when Dr. Kazami manages to free himself and, taking over the command room, proposes to the Heldan army to exchange the secret of Trinity’s energy for that of time travel. The deal fails and Kazami will be killed by the Heldians. However, Giulian manages to invent a powerful laser cannon, powered by Trinity’s energy, and with this they manage to destroy the Heldians’ spaceship, allowing God Sigma to overwhelm the enemy army and restore peace to Earth.

The Diecast merchandising of the series was made by thea POPY . and in the GODAIKIN

Anime that was quite successful but not particularly loved. Popy acquired the rights and created the Robot in Deluxe and standard versions. .

All the cards of the various diecast models made are available in the Second book of the encyclopedia and online for the Premium Users
