Kamen Rider Amazon: Il Guerriero Selvaggio della Foresta

Trasmessa tra il 1974 e il 1975, Kamen Rider Amazon è la quarta e più breve serie del franchise, composta da soli 24 episodi. La storia segue Daisuke Yamamoto (Amazon), unico superstite di un incidente aereo nella foresta amazzonica cresciuto da una tribù locale. Amazon combatte con uno stile brutale e selvaggio contro le organizzazioni malvage Geddon e l’Impero Garanda, guidate dal demone Gorgos. A differenza degli altri Rider, il suo design si ispira a un piranha e a un rettile, rendendolo unico nel panorama Tokusatsu.

L’archivio di Robot Vintage esplora il rarissimo merchandising prodotto da Popy negli anni ’70. Tra i pezzi più ricercati dai collezionisti spicca il Chogokin GA-08 dedicato a Kamen Rider Amazon, noto per la fedeltà alle linee organiche del personaggio. Grande rilevanza è data anche alla sua iconica motocicletta, la Jungler, riprodotta nella linea Popynica con il codice PA-42, un modello celebre per le sue forme aggressive e i meccanismi di lancio tipici dei giocattoli diecast dell’epoca.

Kamen Rider Amazon è una serie televisiva tokusatsu e la quarta delle Serie Di Kamen Rider. Venne trasmesso dalla fine del 1974 ai primi del 1975 sul canale Mainichi Broadcasting System. È la serie di Kamen Rider più breve con soli 24 episodi. Storia [modifica] Un aereo si schianta nella foresta amazzonica e dell’equipaggio sopravvive solo un bambino chiamato Daisuke Yamamoto che viene addottato da una tribù indigena. Daisuke assunse il nome di Amazon e diventò un bambino selvaggio. Ma la sua vita tranquilla nella foresta viene sconvolta quando Gorgos,il demone dalle dieci facce,distrugge il suo villaggio sperando di trovare il bracciale Gigi che da straordinari poteri a chi lo possiede. L’Anziano Bago dona Gigi a Amazon e lo sottopone a una mistica operazione che lo trasforma in Kamen Rider Amazon,successivamente,Bago viene ucciso. Arrivato in Giappone,Amazon combatte Geddon,l’organizzazione agli ordini di Gorgos. Facendo amicizia con i nipoti del Professor Kousaka,Amazon viene a sapere sempre di più sulla natura del bracciale Gigi mentre combatte contro Geddon e succiessivamente,l’Impero Garanda. La sorella maggiore di Masahiko. All’inizio non si fida di Amazon per aver attirato in Giappone le forze di Gorgos,ma dopo essere stata salvata ripetutamente da Amazon,iniziò ad avere fiducia in lui.

Geddon

È la malvagia organizzazione guidata da Gorgos, con lo scopo di dominare il mondo e assettato di sangue. Geddon nella parte inferiore del suo corpo ha l’aspetto di una enorme mostruosa testa con varie facce incastonate in essa.

Kamen Rider Amazon: The Savage Warrior of the Rainforest

Aired between 1974 and 1975, Kamen Rider Amazon is the fourth and shortest series in the franchise, consisting of only 24 episodes. The story follows Daisuke Yamamoto (Amazon), the sole survivor of a plane crash in the Amazon rainforest who was raised by a local tribe. Amazon fights with a brutal and savage style against the evil organizations Geddon and the Garanda Empire, led by the demon Gorgos. Unlike other Riders, his design is inspired by a piranha and a reptile, making him unique in the Tokusatsu landscape.

The Robot Vintage archive explores the extremely rare merchandising produced by Popy in the 1970s. Among the most sought-after pieces for collectors is the GA-08 Kamen Rider Amazon Chogokin, known for its faithfulness to the character’s organic design. Great importance is also given to his iconic motorcycle, the Jungler, reproduced in the Popynica line with the code PA-42, a model famous for its aggressive shapes and the classic launching mechanisms of diecast toys from that era.

Professor Kousaka’s grandson and Amazon’s first friend. He is a boy who attends Jonan Elementary School and teaches Amazon how to speak Japanese.

Ritsuko Okamura

Masahiko’s older sister. At first she doesn’t trust Amazon for luring Gorgos’ forces to Japan, but after being saved by Amazon repeatedly, she begins to trust him.

Geddon

It is the evil organization led by Gorgos, with the aim of world domination and thirsty for blood . Geddon in the lower part of his body has the appearance of a huge monstrous head with various faces embedded in it.
