Kotengu Tenmaru: Il Cacciatore di Mostri e la Zucca Volante
Trasmessa nel 1983, Kotengu Tenmaru segue le avventure del figlio del Re Tengu, inviato sulla Terra per ricatturare 108 demoni liberati per errore. Supportato dal saggio corvo Kuro, il giovane Tenmaru utilizza i suoi poteri e armi bizzarre per proteggere il mondo degli umani dalle minacce yokai.
L’archivio di Robot Vintage mette in luce la produzione diecast di Popy. Il pezzo più iconico è la Hyotan Bike (codice PC-42), la celebre moto a forma di zucca. Questo modello della linea Popynica è particolarmente apprezzato dai collezionisti per la sua originalità estetica e per la capacità di trasformarsi, riflettendo perfettamente lo spirito fantasioso dell’anime originale.

Il pritagonista dell’anime si chiama Tengu Tenmaru, l’unico figlio del grande re Tengu che regna su un mondo di mostri in una dimensione parallela rispetto a quella terrestre. Un giorno una giovane e carina yokai che con l’inganno fa spezzare un sigillo magico a Tenmaru liberando 108 mostri demoniaci che attraversando lo spazio/tempo ed invadono la Terra. Infuriato per l’imperdonabile errore del figlio, il re Tengu lo obbliga a spostarsi sulla Terra per eliminare tutti i mostri che liberato. |

Anime poco conosciuto, il veicolo del protagonista è comunque ottimamente realizzato e molto particolare. .

Protagonista della serie, nonostante abbia 555 anni è considerato un mostro inesperto. Forte fisicamente destreggia con abilità diversi tipi di armi con cui configge i mostri che incontra.
Kuro
Kuro viene mandato dai genitori di Tenmaru per fargli da guida nel mondo degli umani. Non ha poteri magici oltre alla capacità di volare ma è molto saggio e lo consiglia costantemente ,

Veicolo utilizzato dal protagonista, è un grado di volare e all’evenienza compaiono anche 4 zampe per poter percorrere strade accidentate. Si tratta di un veicolo volante a forma di zucca che Tenmaru usa per il trasporto . Di solito è rimpicciolito e indossato intorno alla vita di Tenmaru, ma quando ci soffia attraverso la bocca, ritorna alla sua dimensione originale. |

Kotengu Tenmaru: The Monster Hunter and the Flying Gourd
Aired in 1983, Kotengu Tenmaru follows the son of King Tengu, sent to Earth to recapture 108 demons accidentally released. Aided by the wise crow Kuro, young Tenmaru uses his powers and bizarre weapons to protect the human world from yokai threats.
The Robot Vintage archive highlights the diecast production by Popy. The most iconic piece is the Hyotan Bike (code PC-42), the famous gourd-shaped motorcycle. The protagonist of the anime is called Tengu Tenmaru, the only son of the great king Tengu who rules over a world of monsters in a parallel dimension to the Earth. One day a young and pretty yokai tricks Tenmaru into breaking a magical seal, releasing 108 demonic monsters that cross space/time and invade the Earth. Enraged by his son’s unforgivable mistake, the Tengu king forces him to move to Earth to eliminate all the monsters he released. |

Little known anime, the protagonist’s vehicle is however very well made and very particular. .

Tenmaru
The protagonist of the series, despite being 555 years old, he is considered an inexperienced monster. Physically strong, he skillfully handles different types of weapons with which he defeats the monsters he encounters.

Kuro is sent by Tenmaru’s parents to guide him in the human world. He has no magical powers other than the ability to fly but he is very wise and constantly advises him ,

They are the parents of the protagonist as well as the rulers of the magical world in which he lives.

Vehicle used by the protagonist, it is able to fly and if necessary it also has 4 legs to be able to travel on rough roads. It is a pumpkin-shaped flying vehicle which Tenmaru uses for transportation. It is usually shrunk and worn around Tenmaru’s waist, but when he blows into it, it returns to its original size. |
