Astrorobot Contatto Ypsilon: La Difesa della Terra
Prodotta dalla Nippon Animation nel 1976, questa serie anime di genere mecha in 38 episodi racconta l’invasione della Terra da parte dei Moguru, un popolo alieno rifugiatosi per millenni nelle profondità oceaniche. Per contrastarli, vengono schierati quattro potenti robot progettati dal defunto prof. Hojo: Terremoto Stellare (Boss Palder), Ufo Diapason (Robo Kress), Sfondamento Galattico (Sandaio) e Turbine Solare (Bull Caesar). I piloti Ylli, Ynta, Yanosh e Yshida, dotati del misterioso “potere Ypsilon”, guidano queste macchine dalla base del dott. Uri per affrontare l’esercito della regina Sandra in una battaglia epica per la sopravvivenza dell’umanità.
L’archivio di Robot Vintage documenta il merchandising diecast della serie, prodotto principalmente dalla ditta Takemi e in parte da Bullmark. I modelli Takemi sono celebri per la loro fedeltà al design televisivo, con il modello Sandaio che risulta essere il più raro della produzione. Bullmark, invece, ha firmato pezzi storici come il rarissimo e costoso Robo Kress DX. La collezione include non solo i robot principali, ma anche le navette Freedom (I, II, III e IV) che si agganciano alle teste dei robot, oltre all’Astrobase, offrendo ai collezionisti una panoramica completa dei mecha creati da Akira Hatta.

Astrorobot contatto Ypsilon , anche noto come Blocker Corps. IV Machine Blaster, è un anime televisivo giapponese, creato da Akira Hatta di generemecha in 38 episodi prodotto dalla Nippon Animation nel 1976, trasmesso dal 5 luglio dello stesso anno al 28 marzo 1977 dall’emittente Fuji TV, mentre in Italia è stato trasmesso dal 1980, prima dalla Rai e poi da diverse emittenti locali. Dal 2012 la serie in italiano è disponibile per la visione in streaming sul sito internet Popcorn TV. Dei “Machine Blasters” fu poi realizzato anche un manga da parte di Kazumine Daiji.La Terra viene invasa dal popolo dei Moguru, un popolo alieno che si era nascosto nelle profondità oceaniche per 200 milioni di anni, dopo esser sfuggito alla distruzione del satellite di Marte che abitavano originariamente. L’unica arma a disposizione sono quattro robot progettati dall’ormai defunto prof. Hojo, archeologo spaziale che aveva studiato tale popolo. Questi robot sono ora custoditi nella base del dott. Uri, e vengono pilotati da quattro ragazzi, ovvero Ylli, Ynta, Yanosh – tutti possessori del cosiddetto “potere Ypsilon” – e Yshida. I Moguru sono comandati da Hellqueen, assistita da Zanga e Gorowsky, che perirà durante la serie e verrà sostituita dalla sorella, Sandra. Con l’aiuto di un satellite,viene scoperta la base dei Moguru. La regina Sandra raduna l’antico esercito custodito dal terribile Golaius e attacca la base, danneggiandola seriamente. Avviene quindi lo scontro finale che consegna la vittoria allo squadrone degli Astrorobot. |
Il merchandising Diecast della serie fu realizzato prevalentemente dalla ditta TAKEMI 
e solo alcuni modelli dalla ditta BULLMARK 
Le ditte Takemi e Bullmark hanno realizzato tutti i Robot presenti nell’anime. I modelli sono ben progettati e abbastanza fedeli a quelli visti in TV. Tra i modelli prodotti da Takemi il più raro da trovare è il Sandaio mentre della produzione Bullmark rarissimo e molto costoso è il Robo Kress Dx.
Attualmente i diecast della ditta TAKEMI non sono ancora stati catalogati nell’ Enciclopedia dei Diecast. Il volume è in fase di realizzazine. I modelli Bullmark li potete trovare invece nel Quarto volume dell’Enciclopedia Diecast e on line per gli Utenti Premium .

Yanosh Asuka
E’ senz’altro l’eroe della serie, orfano dalla nascita, condivide la vita in istituto con Yinta, ha il potere Y maggiore tra i piloti degli Astrorobot e, nel corso della serie, si scoprirà essere l’ultimo discendente di Norster, lo scienziato Moguru che aveva progettato i 4 Astrorobot, usando il potere Y. Pilota il robot Boss Palder (Tempesta Spaziale)
Ylli Kenyo
Ha tratti somatici tipicamente occidentali con occhi chiari e capelli biondi, pilota il robot Bull Caesar (Sfondamento Galattico) ed è orfano di padre.
Jinta Hayami
Viveva in orfanotrofio assieme a Yanosh, dal quale viene “rapito” nel primo episodio per esser messo alla guida di Turbine Solare; è profondamente legato a Yanosh.
Gensuka Yishida
Pilota il robot Kress (Terremoto Stellare) ed è il leader del gruppo, spesso in aperta polemica con Yanosh.
Uka Oyu
figlia del defunto dottor Hojo, viene adottata dal dottor Uri presso l’astrobase; durante la serie maturerà un forte affetto per Yanosh.
Dr Uri
Comandante in capo della base degli Astrorobot.

Astrorobot Contatto Ypsilon: Defending the Earth
Produced by Nippon Animation in 1976, this 38-episode mecha anime series tells the story of the invasion of Earth by the Moguru, an alien people who hid for millennia in the ocean depths. To counter them, four powerful robots designed by the late Prof. Hojo are deployed: Boss Palder, Robo Kress, Sandaio, and Bull Caesar. Pilots Ylli, Ynta, Yanosh, and Yshida, all possessing the mysterious “Ypsilon power,” guide these machines from Dr. Uri’s base to face Queen Sandra’s army in an epic battle for humanity’s survival.
The Robot Vintage archive documents the diecast merchandising of the series, produced mainly by the Takemi company and partly by Bullmark. Takemi models are famous for their faithfulness to the TV design, with the Sandaio model being the rarest of their production. Bullmark, on the other hand, created historical pieces such as the extremely rare and expensive Robo Kress DX. The collection includes not only the main robots but also the Freedom shuttles (I, II, III, and IV) that attach to the robots’ heads, along with the Astrobase, providing collectors with a complete overview of the mecha created by Akira Hatta.

Astrorobot Contact Ypsilon, also known as Blocker Corps. IV Machine Blaster, is a Japanese television anime, created by Akira Hatta of the mecha genre in 38 episodes produced by Nippon Animation in 1976, broadcast from July 5 of the same year to March 28, 1977 by the Fuji TV broadcaster, while in Italy it was broadcast from 1980, first by Rai and then by various local broadcasters. Since 2012 the series in Italian is available for streaming on the Popcorn TV website. A manga was also created about “Machine Blasters” by Kazumine Daiji. The Earth is invaded by the Moguru people, an alien population that had hidden in the ocean depths for 200 million years, after escaping the destruction of the satellite of Mars that they originally inhabited. The only weapon available are four robots designed by the now deceased prof. Hojo, a space archaeologist who had studied this population. These robots are now kept in Dr. Uri’s base, and are piloted by four boys, namely Ylli, Ynta, Yanosh – all possessors of the so-called “Ypsilon power” – and Yshida. The Mogurus are commanded by Hellqueen, assisted by Zanga and Gorowsky, who will perish during the series and will be replaced by her sister, Sandra. With the help of a satellite, the Moguru base is discovered. Queen Sandra gathers the ancient army guarded by the terrible Golaius and attacks the base, seriously damaging it. The final battle then takes place, which gives victory to the Astrorobot squadron. |
The diecast merchandising of the series was mainly produced by the company TAKEMI and only some models from the BULLMARK company
The companies Takemi and Bullmark made all the Robots present in the anime. The models are well designed and quite faithful to those seen on TV. Among the models produced by Takemi the rarest to find is the Sandaio while from the Bullmark production the very rare and very expensive is the Robo Kress Dx.
Currently the company’s diecasts TAKEMI nhave not yet been catalogued in the Diecast Encyclopedia. The volume is in progress. The Bullmark models can be found instead in the Fourth volume of the Diecast Encyclopedia and online for Premium Users .

Yanosh Asuka
He is undoubtedly the hero of the series, an orphan since birth, he shares life in the institute with Yinta, he has the greatest Y power among the Astrorobot pilots and, during the series, he will be revealed to be the last descendant of Norster, the Moguru scientist who had designed the 4 Astrorobots, using the Y power. He pilots the robot Boss Palder (Space Storm)
Ylli Kenyo
He has typically Western features with light eyes and blond hair, he pilots the robot Bull Caesar (Galactic Breakthrough) and is an orphan.
Jinta Hayami
He lived in an orphanage with Yanosh, from whom he was “kidnapped” in the first episode to be put in charge of Solar Turbine; he is deeply attached to Yanosh.
Gensuka Yishida
He pilots the robot Kress (Starquake) and is the leader of the group, often in open conflict with Yanosh.
Uka Oyu
daughter of the late Doctor Hojo, she is adopted by Doctor Uri at the astrobase; during the series she will develop a strong affection for Yanosh.
Dr Uri
Commander in chief of the Astrorobot base.
