Megaloman: Il Guerriero dalla Chioma di Fuoco
Takashi Shishido è un giovane esperto di arti marziali che scopre di essere per metà alieno: sua madre Rosemary proviene infatti dal pianeta Rosetta, conquistato dalla malvagia Tribù della Stella Nera. Grazie ai braccialetti Megalon, Takashi può trasformarsi nel gigantesco Megaloman per difendere la Terra dai mostri inviati dal Capitano Delitto (Tanga), che si rivelerà essere il suo fratello gemello Hiroshi, rapito e plagiato dagli invasori. Megaloman è celebre per il suo attacco finale, la “Fiamma di Megalopoli”, scagliata dalla sua lunga chioma bianca.
Il merchandising diecast di Megaloman è stato realizzato dalla ditta Takatoku, che ha prodotto modelli diventati oggi pezzi pregiati e molto ricercati dai collezionisti. Tra i pezzi più significativi dell’archivio Robot Vintage figurano il Megaloman ST e le versioni Mini, oltre al raro Megaloman Pla-DX. La serie rimane una delle più amate del genere tokusatsu degli anni ’70, e i relativi giocattoli in metallo sono apprezzati per la solidità e la fedeltà al design originale del supereroe.

Star Rosetta era un bellissimo pianeta dove coesistevano due razze: la tribù Mane e la tribù Kokusei. Tuttavia, la guerriera tribù della Stella Nera ha intrapreso molte battaglie e, a seguito di ripetuti conflitti etnici, ha conquistato tutta Rosetta. Successivamente, inizieranno un’invasione della Terra. Sapendo questo, Rosemary, membro della tribù Mane, affida il Bracciale Megalon a suo figlio Takashi, nato da Tsuyoshi Shishido, un terrestre esperto di arti marziali. Takashi aveva la capacità di trasformarsi in un essere sovrumano. Nel frattempo, il capo della tribù della Stella Nera, Smeller, nomina il capitano Dagger comandante dell’operazione “Conquista della Terra”. È il fratello gemello di Takashi, Hiroshi, che è stato separato quando era giovane e cresciuto dalla tribù della Stella Nera. |

La figlia di Zhuang Yuan, ha ricevuto il braccialetto magico nell’episodio 2 che le permette di ottenere poteri speciali. La tuta energetica è rosa.
Sougen
Ottiene nel secondo episodio un braccialetto che gli permette di sviluppare poteri speciali, coraggioso e forte, la sua tuta è di colore blu, muore a seguito delle ferite riportate per aiutare Megaloman nella battaglia finale.
Ippei
Anche lui ottiene un braccialetto che ne potenzia le capacità fisiche, è l’elemento comico del gruppo., la sua tuta è gialla.
Takasuke
Il più giovane del gruppo, ottiene nel secondo episodio un braccialetto magico che lo potenzia, òa sua tuta è verde.
Rosemary
E’ la madre del protagonista, è un’aliena che scappa dal sua pianeta natale trovando rifugio assieme al figlio sulla Terra. E’ lei a dare i braccialetti magici ai co-protagonisti della serie.
Seiji
E’ il padre del protagonista, da tutti ritenuto morto, ricomparirà nell’episodio 22 per aiutare il figlio a vincere la sua battaglia.
CAPITAN DELITTO (TANGA)
La sua vera identità è Guang, il fratello gemello del protagonista. È stato separato dalla sua famiglia in tenera età ed è stato allevato dal presidente della tribù della Stella Nera. Di solito indossa una maschera d’argento, ascolta le istruzioni del presidente ed elabora piani di combattimento.
Megaloman: The Warrior with the Flaming Mane
Takashi Shishido is a young martial arts expert who discovers he is half-alien: his mother Rosemary comes from the planet Rosetta, which was conquered by the evil Black Star Tribe. Using the Megalon bracelets, Takashi can transform into the giant Megaloman to defend Earth from the monsters sent by Captain Dagger (Tanga), who is eventually revealed to be his twin brother Hiroshi, kidnapped and brainwashed by the invaders. Megaloman is famous for his final attack, the “Megalopolis Flame,” launched from his long white hair.
The diecast merchandising for Megaloman was produced by the Takatoku company, creating models that have now become highly prized and sought-after by collectors. Significant pieces in the Robot Vintage archive include the Megaloman ST and Mini versions, as well as the rare Megaloman Pla-DX. The series remains one of the most beloved of the 1970s tokusatsu genre, and its metal toys are valued for their sturdiness and faithfulness to the superhero’s original design.

Star Rosetta was a beautiful planet where two races coexisted: the Mane Tribe and the Kokusei Tribe. However, the warlike Black Star Tribe waged many battles and, as a result of repeated ethnic conflicts, conquered all of Rosetta. Later, they will begin an invasion of Earth. Ran
Zhuang Yuan’s daughter, she received the magic bracelet in episode 2 that allows her to gain special powers. Her energy suit is pink.
Sougen
In the second episode he gets a bracelet that allows him to develop special powers, brave and strong, his suit is blue, he dies from the wounds he suffered while helping Megaloman in the final battle.
Ippei
He also gets a bracelet that enhances his physical abilities, he is the comical element of the group, his suit is yellow.
Takasuke
The youngest of the group, in the second episode he gets a magic bracelet that powers him up, his suit is green.
Rosemary
She is the mother of the protagonist, she is an alien who escapes from her home planet finding refuge with her son on Earth. She is the one who gives the magic bracelets to the co-protagonists of the series.
Seiji
He is the father of the protagonist, believed by all to be dead, who will reappear in episode 22 to help his son win his battle.
TANGA
His true identity is Guang, the protagonist’s twin brother. He was separated from his family at an early age and was raised by the chairman of the Black Star Tribe. He usually wears a silver mask, listens to the chairman’s instructions, and makes battle plans.
