Spider-Man: Il Tokusatsu della Toei
Spider-Man (1978) è una serie live action giapponese prodotta dalla Toei Animation, basata sul personaggio Marvel ma con una trama totalmente originale. Il protagonista è il motociclista Takuya Yamashiro, che riceve i poteri di ragno per combattere il malvagio Professor Monster e la sua Armata della Croce di Ferro. La vera rivoluzione di questa serie fu l’introduzione di Leopardon, un robot gigante alto 60 metri che Spider-Man pilota per sconfiggere i mostri giganti. Questa innovazione ebbe un tale successo da spingere la Toei a inserire i mecha giganti in tutte le successive serie Super Sentai.
Il merchandising Diecast fu affidato alla ditta POPY. I pezzi forti della collezione sono il robot Leopardon, realizzato sia in versione DX (GA-90) che ST (GA-89). La versione DX è particolarmente apprezzata per la sua trasformazione completa in astronave Marveller. Oltre al robot, fu prodotta la Spider-Machine GP-7 (PB-55), la macchina super attrezzata di Spider-Man che può volare ed entrare nel corpo del robot. Mentre i modelli di Leopardon sono relativamente comuni sul mercato del collezionismo, il veicolo GP-7 risulta essere sensibilmente più raro e costoso da reperire.

Spider-Manè una serie televisiva live action giapponese prodotta dalla Toei Animation nel 1978, basata sull’omonimo personaggio dei fumetti Marvel Comics, l’Uomo Ragno. In questa serie, Spiderman pilota un robot gigante chiamato Leopardon. Fu proprio il robot Leopardon ad aver dato l’idea alla Toei di inserire i mecha giganti nelle serie Super Sentai. Per sconfiggere il malvagio professor Monster, alla guida dell’armata Evil Cross, il motociclista Takuya Yamashiro si trasforma in un eroe dotato di un costume quasi identico a quello dell’Uomo Ragno, questa volta con a sua disposizione il robot gigante Leopardon e una macchina super attrezzata. La serie è composta da 41 puntate, della durata di circa mezz’ora. In questa serie sono totalmente assenti i caratteri e personaggi classici del super-eroe originale, che sono stati rimpiazzati con elementi futuristici tipici delle produzioni giapponesi. Inoltre in questa serie, gli occhi della maschera del protagonista sono più assottigliati, formando i tipici “occhi a mandorla”. A differenza degli altri eroi tokusatsu, Spiderman non ha una mossa finale, ma usa il robot Leopardon per distruggere i mostri del Dr.Monster. |

Sono stati realizzati il robot in versione standard e deluxe ed il veicolo pilotato dal protagonista. Il robot è un pezzo comune da trovare, sicuramente più raro e costoso è il veicolo di Spiderman.

Leopaldon è un super robot pilotato dal protagonista, è alto 60 metri e pesa 25.000 tonnellate. Solitamente è in configurazione aerea e assume il nome di Marveller, Può combattere in battaglia anche in questa configurazione in quanto dotato di cannoni ma solitamente si trasfoma in Leoparodon. Al suo interno contiene la SPIDERMACHINE veicolo giodato da Spiderman, può volare ed entra nel Leopaldon per poterlo pilotare dall’interno. |

Spider-Man (1978) is a Japanese live-action series produced by Toei Animation, based on the Marvel character but featuring a completely original storyline. The Diecast merchandising was produced by the POPY company. The highlights of the collection are the Leopardon robot, released in both DX (GA-90) and ST (GA-89) versions. The DX version is particularly prized for its full transformation into the Marveller spaceship. In addition to the robot, the Spider-Machine GP-7 (PB-55) was produced—Spider-Man’s super-equipped flying car that can enter the robot’s body. While Leopardon models are relatively common in the collector market, the GP-7 vehicle is significantly rarer and more expensive to find.

Spider-Man is a Japanese live-action television series produced by Toei Animation in 1978, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, Spider-Man. In this series, Spider-Man pilots a giant robot called Leopardon. It was the Leopardon robot that gave Toei the idea to include giant mecha in the Super Sentai series. To defeat the evil Professor Monster, who leads the Evil Cross army, the motorcyclist Takuya Yamashiro transforms into a hero equipped with a costume almost identical to that of Spider-Man, this time with at his disposal the giant robot Leopardon and a super-equipped car. The series consists of 41 episodes, each lasting approximately half an hour. In this series, the classic characters and personages of the original superhero are completely absent, and have been replaced with futuristic elements typical of Japanese productions. Furthermore, in this series, the eyes of the protagonist’s mask are thinner, forming the typical “almond eyes”. Unlike other tokusatsu heroes, Spiderman does not have a finishing move, but uses the Leopardon robot to destroy Dr. Monster’s monsters. |

The robot in standard and deluxe version and the vehicle driven by the protagonist were made. The robot is a common piece to find, certainly rarer and more expensive is the Spiderman vehicle.

Leopaldon is a super robot piloted by the protagonist, it is 60 meters tall and weighs 25,000 tons. It is usually in aerial configuration and takes the name of Marveller. It can fight in battle even in this configuration as it is equipped with cannons but usually transforms into Leoparodon. Inside it contains the SPIDERMACHINE vehicle driven by Spiderman, it can fly and enters the Leopaldon to drive it from inside.
