Dorvack: L’Avanguardia delle Kanzan Henkei
Prodotta nel 1983, Dorvack è una serie di culto per gli amanti del mecha design realistico. I tre mezzi protagonisti — Mugen Calibur, Ovelon Gazette e Bonaparte Tulcas — rappresentano l’apice dei veicoli militari trasformabili dell’epoca.
Nel collezionismo vintage, la licenza originale appartiene alla leggendaria Takatoku Toys. I modelli della serie Kanzan Henkei sono celebri per la loro trasformazione perfetta e l’uso generoso di metallo. Curiosità storica: dopo la chiusura di Takatoku, questi stampi furono utilizzati per alcuni celebri personaggi della linea Transformers. Trovare un pezzo Takatoku originale, completo di accessori e scatola integra, è oggi un obiettivo di grande prestigio per ogni collezionista di robot trasformabili degli anni ’80.

| DORVACK – 36 PUNTATE – 1983 |
Nell’anno 1999 gli Ideliani, che hanno dominato e colonizzato lo spazio per decine di centinaia di anni, sono vicini alla loro fine. La loro sola speranza è il pianeta abitabile più vicino, la Terra. Una volta arrivati nella sua orbita, danno inizio all’invasione, lanciando un grande esercito verso le Alpi. Le forze di difesa terrestri combattono con le potenze nemiche, ottenendo solo piccoli successi. Una sola unita è in grado di infliggere danni pesanti, la Tokusou Kihei Dorvack. Sotto il comando del colonnello Takashiro, Makoto Mugen, Pierre Bonaparte e Louise Oberon combattono contro gli invasori. Sono equipaggiati con vari robot speciali in grado di convertire i veicoli in forme umanoidi. |

I protagonisti della serie sono una squadra speciale che dispone di veicoli dell’ultima generazione, gli unici in grado di contrastare l’invasione aliena. Si tratta di veicoli (jeep, elicottero e carroarmato) in grado di trasformasi in robot antropomofi. |

L’esercito di difesa terrestre utilizza a supporto della squadra Dorvack, una sezione speciale di uomini addestrati al combattimento corpo a corpo prevalentemente sul terreno che usano delle armature potenziate dotate di armi d’assalto e contraerea. |

Mugen Masato
personaggio principale. Maschio giapponese di 20 anni. Un tipo onesto e appassionato. Ha un eccellente atletismo e capacità di combattimento e pilota la macchina variabile “Calibre” della Dorvack Squad. Poiché aspira a diventare un pilota, è anche molto abile nel guidare una jeep .
Louise Oberon
Una donna americana di 18 anni che pilota la “Gazette”, una macchina variabile che si trasforma da elicottero . Ha i capelli rossi corti e una personalità attiva. Ha anche un cervello eccellente e usa la sua snella gazzetta per raccogliere e analizzare informazioni. Ha una cotta per Masato.
Pierre Bonaparte
Un francese di 23 anni gestisce Tarkas, una macchina variabile che si trasforma da carro armato a robot umanoide . È il fondatore della Dorvack e un seguace di Masato nel quale riconosce le doti di un leader. Muore proteggendo Louise nel mezzo della storia.
IDEALIANI
Guidati da Zeller, attaccarono la Terra per migrare lì. Due milioni di persone dormivano e solo pochi militari erano attivi. Zeller rivelò le sue vere ambizioni, e le persone che erano in stato di sonno furono sepolte insieme alla struttura senza mai svegliarsi, e coloro che si erano uniti a Zeller nell’invasione condivisero il loro destino con la base che crollò con la morte di Zeller. I ribelli Amofu sopravvissuti vivevano in gruppo in un campo profughi , ma un attacco degli Zelanoidi spazzò via l’intera unità militare terrestre che aveva il compito di difenderli. Anche l’ultimo Aroma rimasto prese la forma di un uccello e volò via, provocando l’estinzione dei due milioni di Ideliani.
Zeller
È il capo del popolo ideliano e può essere definito un dio. In realtà, è un essere malvagio che complotta per spazzare via sia gli Ideliani che i terrestri. Zeller viene ucciso da Idel, che viene a conoscenza delle sue vere ambizioni, e perde il suo corpo, ma questo dà a Zeller ancora più potere. Viene sconfitto nell’episodio finale.
Amov
Comandante in capo dell’esercito idealiano iniziale. Sembra un uomo anziano. Per salvare i 2 milioni di Ideliani, iniziano un’invasione della Terra sotto le istruzioni di Zeller. Tuttavia, durante la battaglia, iniziò a dubitare della volontà di Zeller e disertò. Insieme a sua figlia Aroma e a molti Ideliani, combatte contro Zeller e muore in battaglia.
Aroma
Una donna idealiana che sembra avere 18 anni. Durante la serie si allea con la squadra Dorvack prendendosi cura di Pierre e Masato creando gelosia con Louise.Dopo aver acquisito abilità misteriose, nella battaglia finale sconfigge Zeller..
Dorvack: The Vanguard of Kanzan Henkei
Aired in 1983, Dorvack is a landmark series for fans of “real-type” mecha design. The iconic trio—Mugen Calibur, Ovelon Gazette, and Bonaparte Tulcas—perfectly blended military aesthetics with the innovative Kanzan Henkei transformation system.
The vintage toy line was managed by Takatoku Toys. Known for their high-quality diecast and perfect transformations, these figures are some of the most sought-after pieces of the era. After Takatoku’s liquidation, these molds famously transitioned into the global Transformers line. Finding an original Takatoku unit in Mint in Box (MIB) condition, complete with all its original weapons and packaging, is a major achievement for collectors of 1980s transforming toys.

In the year 1999, the Idelians, who have dominated and colonized space for tens of hundreds of years, are nearing their end. Their only hope is the nearest habitable planet, Earth. Once they arrive in its orbit, they begin their invasion, launching a large army towards the Alps. The Earth defense forces battle with the enemy powers, achieving only small successes. Only one unit is capable of inflicting heavy damage, the Tokusou Kihei Dorvack. Under the command of Colonel Takashiro, Makoto Mugen, Pierre Bonaparte and Louise Oberon fight against the invaders. They are equipped with various special robots capable of converting vehicles into humanoid forms. |
The diecast merchandising of the series was made by the company TAKATOKU .
Little known series, well made models but generally not very sought after.

The Ground Defense Force uses Dorvack Squad, a special section of men trained in hand-to-hand combat primarily on the ground, who use powered armor equipped with assault and anti-aircraft weapons. |

Mugen Masato
main character. 20-year-old Japanese male. An honest and passionate guy. He has excellent athleticism and fighting skills and pilots the Dorvack Squad’s variable-speed car “Caliber”. Since he aspires to be a pilot, he is also very skilled at driving a jeep.
Louise Oberon
An 18-year-old American woman who pilots the “Gazette”, a variable machine that transforms from a helicopter. She has short red hair and an active personality. She also has an excellent brain and uses her slender gazette to gather and analyze information. She has a crush on Masato.
Pierre Bonaparte
A 23-year-old Frenchman operates Tarkas, a variable machine that transforms from a tank to a humanoid robot. He is the founder of Dorvack and a follower of Masato in whom he sees the qualities of a leader. He dies protecting Louise in the middle of the story.
IDEALIANS
Led by Zeller, they attacked Earth to migrate there. Two million people were asleep and only a few military personnel were active. Zeller revealed his true ambitions, and the people who were asleep were buried along with the facility without ever waking up, and those who had joined Zeller in the invasion shared their fate with the base that collapsed with Zeller’s death. The surviving Amofu rebels lived in a group in a refugee camp, but an attack by the Zelanoids wiped out the entire Earth military unit that was tasked with defending them. The last remaining Aroma also took the form of a bird and flew away, causing the extinction of the two million Idelians.
Zeller
He is the leader of the Idelians and can be called a god. In reality, he is an evil being who plots to wipe out both the Idelians and the Earthlings. Zeller is killed by Idel, who learns of his true ambitions, and loses his body, but this gives Zeller even more power. He is defeated in the final episode.
Amov
Commander-in-chief of the initial Idealian army. He appears to be an elderly man. In order to save the 2 million Idelians, they begin an invasion of Earth under Zeller’s instructions. However, during the battle, he began to doubt Zeller’s will and defected. Along with his daughter Aroma and many Idelians, he fights against Zeller and dies in battle.
Aroma
An idealistic woman who appears to be 18 years old. During the series, she allies herself with the Dorvack team, taking care of Pierre and Masato, creating jealousy with Louise. After gaining mysterious abilities, she defeats Zeller in the final battle. .
