| DR SRLUMP E ARALE |
Sembee Norimaki noto anche con il soprannome di “Dr. Slump” (traducibile all’incirca come “dottor catastrofe”), è un inventore scapolo di 28 anni maniaco delle donne che abita nel piccolo paese di Penguin Village (il Villaggio Pinguino), situato sull’isola di Gengoro, agli antipodi del mondo di Dragon Ball. Egli crea un sacco di invenzioni più o meno utili ma quasi sempre bizzarre, la più importante delle quali è Arale, un robottino dall’aspetto di bambina. Arale è indistinguibile da una persona vera, al punto di soffrire persino di miopia, e per questo Sembee la spaccia per la sua sorellina tredicenne. L’ingenuità di Arale, dovuta al fatto che ovviamente non conosce nulla del mondo esterno, unita alla sua incredibile forza fisica (implementata per errore dal dottore), saranno una fonte inesauribile di guai per Sembee e tutti gli abitanti del Villaggio Pinguino. Con il passare del tempo la singolare famiglia si allargherà: in seguito a un viaggio nella preistoria, dovuto alla macchina del tempo inventata da Sembee, i nostri porteranno a casa un uovo, creduto di dinosauro e da cui invece uscirà un esserino alato e asessuato che i due chiamerannoGacchan. Dopo molto tempo e una lunghissima serie di avventure strampalate, Sembee deciderà di chiedere in sposa la signorina Midori Yamabuki, la maestra della scuola in cui il dottore aveva mandato Arale a studiare e di cui era innamorato da sempre. I due avranno anche un figlio, Turbo, un neonato in possesso di incredibili capacità paranormali, donategli da alcuni alieni. |

Midori Yamabuki
E’ la professoressa di Arale. È molto carina e gentile, di carattere buono e aperto, è amata in segreto da Senbee.
Gacchan
E’ un esserino asessuato, simile a un neonato dai capelli ricci (di colore verde nella prima serie anime e biondi nella seconda), ma dotato di ali piumate, antenne e la capacità di divorare e digerire qualunque cosa tranne gli oggetti fatti di gomma.

Sembee Norimaki also known by the nickname “Dr. Slump” (roughly translated as “doctor catastrophe”), is a 28-year-old single inventor and womanizer who lives in the small town of Penguin Village (the Penguin Village), located on the island of Gengoro, at the antipodes of the Dragon Ball world. He creates a lot of inventions more or less useful but almost always bizarre, the most important of which is Arale, a little robot that looks like a child. Arale is indistinguishable from a real person, to the point of even suffering from myopia, and for this reason Sembee passes her off as his thirteen-year-old sister. Arale’s naivety, due to the fact that she obviously knows nothing about the outside world, combined with her incredible physical strength (implemented by mistake by the doctor), will be an inexhaustible source of trouble for Sembee and all the inhabitants of Penguin Village. As time goes by, the singular family will grow: following a journey into prehistory, thanks to the time machine invented by Sembee, our heroes will bring home an egg, believed to be a dinosaur’s egg, from which instead a winged and asexual being will emerge that the two will call Gacchan. After a long time and a very long series of bizarre adventures, Sembee will decide to ask Miss Midori Yamabuki, the teacher of the school where the doctor had sent Arale to study and with whom he had always been in love, to marry him. The two will also have a son, Turbo, a newborn with incredible paranormal abilities, given to him by some aliens. |

Dr Slump
Senbee Norimaki, nicknamed Dr. Slump, is a clumsy and brilliant inventor from Penguin Village, capable of inventing new and bizarre devices every day.
Midori Yamabuki
She is Arale’s teacher. She is very nice and kind, good-natured and open-minded, and is secretly loved by Senbee.
Gacchan
It is a small, asexual being, similar to a newborn baby with curly hair (green in the first anime series and blond in the second), but equipped with feathered wings, antennae and the ability to devour and digest anything except objects made of rubber.
