Ark era un'azienda giapponese che produceva una serie di mostri Kaiju in metallo venduti con il marchio "Arklon". Inizialmente fondata come sussidiaria di vendita e marketing del famoso produttore di giocattoli giapponese Bullmark . Dopo il fallimento di quest’ultima nel 1977, il co-fondatore di Bullmark Saburo Ishizuki prese in carico Ark e la trasformò in un produttore di giocattoli a tutti gli effetti. Ark lanciò una varietà di giocattoli tra la metà e la fine degli anni '70, tra cui giocattoli pressofusi, in vinile morbido e in plastica poco costosi. Con una sola eccezione King Kong (venduto con il nome generico "Mech-Gorilla" negli USA), tutti i giocattoli Arklon erano basati sui personaggi Kaiju della serie televisiva Ultraman.
Ark was a Japanese company that produced a series of metal Kaiju monsters sold under the "Arklon" brand. It was initially founded as a sales and marketing subsidiary of the popular Japanese toy manufacturer Bullmark. After Bullmark's bankruptcy in 1977, Bullmark co-founder Saburo Ishizuki took over Ark and transformed it into a full-fledged toy manufacturer. Ark released a variety of toys in the mid- to late-1970s, including die-cast, soft vinyl, and inexpensive plastic toys. With the sole exception of King Kong (sold under the generic name "Mech-Gorilla" in the US), all Arklon toys were based on Kaiju characters from the Ultraman television series.
