Itadakiman: L’ultimo Atto delle Time Bokan classiche

Prodotta dalla Tatsunoko nel 1983, Itadakiman rappresenta il settimo capitolo della saga Time Bokan. La trama, dai toni più parodistici e rivolta a un pubblico leggermente più maturo, segue le vicende dell’Accademia Oshaka e della ricerca di misteriose lastre di rame. Il giovane Kusaku, trasformandosi nell’eroe Itadakiman, deve contrastare il trio di cattivi capitanato dalla volitiva Yan-Yan. Nonostante l’originalità, la serie subì una chiusura anticipata dopo soli 20 episodi a causa dei bassi ascolti.

L’archivio di Robot Vintage analizza la produzione diecast Takatoku dedicata a questa serie. Nonostante la brevità dell’anime, i modelli realizzati come il Peleguin, il Wangaroo e il Kabutozemi sono notevoli per la loro capacità di trasformazione (ad esempio da pinguino a pellicano). In questa sezione esaminiamo questi pezzi che, pur essendo tra i meno rari della produzione Takatoku, rappresentano l’evoluzione finale del design meccanico prima della chiusura dello storico marchio giapponese.

Itadakiman è la settima serie realizzata del filone delle Time Bokan. La storia inizia nell’anno 20XX. La Kamauland situata nella città di Osaka è una scuola di fama mondiale in cui solo coloro che sono discendenti puri di clan nobili possono essere ammessi. Il trio di cattivi crede fermamente di essere i discendenti genuini del clan Sanzo. Studiano duro per entrare nella scuola ma ottengono solo ripetuti fallimenti. Un giorno, a tre bambini molto intelligenti viene affidata la missione di trovare una serie di lastre di rame disperse in tutto il mondo. Le piastre serviranno per completare un enorme puzzle, che porterà onore alla scuola Oshaka. La conversazione è sentita però anche dal trio di cattivi, che decide di ostacolare i ragazzi e di ottenere per loro le piastre. La storia si rivolge ad un pubblico un po’ più adulto rispetto alle precedenti serie. In generale, la storia è una parodia delle serie precedente dove vengono riprese situazioni e tematiche per lo più già affrontate e viste. Lo spettacolo è stato annullato dopo venti episodi a causa del bassissimo tasso di audience.

Come tutte le altre serie del filone “time Bokan” anche i diecast dell’anime Itadakimansono stati realizzati dalla ditta Takatoku. Si tratta però di una delle ultime serie realizzate dove le idee erano per lo più finite. I diecast realizzati sono innovativi in quanto trasformabili ma sono comunque tra i meno ricercati e costosi tra le varie serie Time Bokan .

Preside dell’Accademia Oshaka, Ha una testa enorme e una faccia che sembra una versione deformata del Grande Buddha, uando lo spirito del Buddha lo possiede, dà istruzioni sulla posizione del puzzle Oshaka.

O Monkey

Scimmia robotica, ha la capacità di muoversi nello spazio e di teletrasportare i protagonisti quando il trio dei cattivi decide di entrare in azione.

Yan-Yan

25 anni, è una donna volitiva ed avida, Anche se è al suo ottavo anno da ronin, ha ancora un forte desiderio di fare carriera. E’ il capo del trio.

Desainen

26 anni. Uno studente ronin che mira ad entrare all’Accademia Oshaka. E’ lo stratega del gruppo e comanda i mostri da inviare in battaglia.

Tonmentan

30 anni, studente che vive con Dasainen, è il forzuto e stupido del gruppo, tutta forza e poco cervello.

Itadakiman: The Final Act of the Classic Time Bokan

Produced by Tatsunoko in 1983, Itadakiman is the seventh installment in the Time Bokan saga. With a more parodic tone aimed at a slightly older audience, the plot follows the Oshaka Academy and the search for mysterious copper plates. Young Kusaku transforms into the hero Itadakiman to thwart the trio of villains led by the strong-willed Yan-Yan. Despite its originality, the series was canceled after only 20 episodes due to low ratings.

The Robot Vintage archive examines the Takatoku diecast production for this series. Despite the show’s short run, the models—such as Peleguin, Wangaroo, and Kabutozemi—are remarkable for their transforming capabilities (e.g., from Penguin to Pelican). In this section, we analyze these pieces which, while among the less rare in Takatoku’s catalog, represent the final evolution of mechanical design before the historic Japanese brand’s closure.

Like all the other series of the “time Bokan” genre, the diecasts of the Itadakiman anime were also made by the Takatoku company. However, this is one of the last series made where the ideas were mostly finished. The diecasts made are innovative as they are transformable but are still among the least sought after and expensive among the various Time Bokan series.

Headmaster of Oshaka Academy, He has a huge head and a face that looks like a deformed version of the Great Buddha, when the Buddha’s spirit possesses him, he gives instructions on the location of the Oshaka puzzle.

O Monkey

A robotic monkey, he has the ability to move through space and teleport the protagonists when the trio of villains decide to take action.

Yan-Yan

25 years old, she is a strong-willed and greedy woman. Even though she is in her eighth year as a ronin, she still has a strong desire to advance her career. She is the leader of the trio.
