Message from Space: San Ku Kai – Guerra fra Galassie
Hayato è un giovane pilota la cui famiglia viene sterminata dal crudele Impero Gavaniano, intenzionato a conquistare l’intero sistema solare. Senza alleati, Hayato trova supporto nel saggio Ryu e nel goffo uomo-scimmia Baru. Al gruppo si unisce il robottino Tonto e la misteriosa principessa Sofia, che viaggia su un veliero spaziale (il Preastar) e dona ai protagonisti l’astronave da combattimento Space Liabe. Inizia così una guerriglia interplanetaria per liberare gli umani prigionieri e porre fine alla tirannia dei Gavaniani.
Il merchandising diecast di questa serie è stato prodotto da Popy, che ha riprodotto con cura i principali veicoli spaziali visti sullo schermo. La linea comprende modelli come il Comet Fire (PB58), il Galaxy Runner (PB57) e la celebre Space Liabe (PB56). Sebbene siano pezzi meno ricercati rispetto ai grandi robot componibili, questi modelli catturano perfettamente l’estetica “space opera” della fine degli anni ’70 e sono apprezzati per i prezzi ancora contenuti nell’ambito del collezionismo vintage, come documentato nell’archivio di Robot Vintage.

| MESSAGE FROM SPACE – 28 PUNTATE – 1978 |
Hayato, un pilota spaziale in ritorno a casa dall’accademia, al quale i terribili Gavaniani uccidono padre, madre e sorella minore. Lo stesso Hayato si carica di vendetta ma non dispone né di nessun alleato e né di nessun veicolo spaziale per poter dare inizio alla sua guerra personale contro il popolo dei Gavaniani. In suo aiuto arrivano Ryu e Baru, il primo un combattente esperto e molto saggio ed il secondo un uomo scimmia goffo e pilota di astronave. Ai tre si aggiunge Tonto, un robot parlante che Ryu vince durante una gara di lancio di coltelli su un pianeta del sistema solare. Ad aiutare Hayato arriva anche una misteriosa principessa che viaggia a bordo si un veliero spaziale, Sofia, la quale dona ad Hayato e ai suoi amici una grossa astronave da combattimento, la Li She. Iniziano quindi i loro viaggi tra i pianeti del sistema solare per annientare ogni forma di dei Gavaniani, i quali fanno continuamente prigionieri poveri esseri umani pianeta per pianeta. |

SPACE LIABE: Astronave donata dalla Principessa Sofiaa Hayato per combattere. E’ il mezzo con il quale si spostano per i loro viaggi più lunghi.
PREASTAR: Veliero spaziale sul quale viaggia la Principessa Sofia, personaggio che interviene spesso in aiuto di Hayato
SPACE SAUCER: Astronave sulla quale si sposta Tonto nello spazio e con la quale di tanto in tanto esegue missioni operative

Hayato
Hayato, un pilota spaziale al quale i terribili Gavaniani uccidono padre, madre e sorella minore. Grazie all’aiuto di vari parsonaggi che incontra durante il suo cammino come Ryo Baru tonto e la principessa Sofia, Hayato compone una forte squadra di politi spaziali ed inizia a lottare contro i Gavaniani tiranni dello spazio.
Ryu
Combattente esperte e molto saggio, affianca Hayato nella sua lotto contro i Gavaniani.
Baru
Uomo scimmia goffo e pilota di astronavi, affianca Hayato e Ryo nella loro lotto contro i Gavaniani.
Prinicpessa Sofia e Tonto
Misteriosa principessa che viaggia a bordo si un veliero spaziale, Sofia, la quale dona ad Hayato e ai suoi amici una grossa astronave da combattimento la Space Liabe

Message from Space: San Ku Kai – Galactic War
Hayato is a young pilot whose family is slaughtered by the cruel Gavanian Empire, which aims to conquer the entire solar system. Left with no allies, Hayato finds support in the wise Ryu and the clumsy ape-man Baru. They are joined by the small robot Tonto and the mysterious Princess Sofia, who travels on a space sailing ship (the Preastar) and gifts the protagonists the combat spaceship Space Liabe. Thus begins an interplanetary guerrilla war to free imprisoned humans and end the tyranny of the Gavanians.
The diecast merchandising for this series was produced by Popy, which carefully recreated the main spacecraft seen on screen. The line includes models such as the Comet Fire (PB58), the Galaxy Runner (PB57), and the famous Space Liabe (PB56). Although they are less sought-after than large combining robots, these models perfectly capture the late-70s “space opera” aesthetic and are valued for their still-affordable prices in the vintage collecting market, as documented in the Robot Vintage archive.

Hayato, a space pilot returning home from the academy, whose father, mother and younger sister are killed by the terrible Gavanians. Hayato himself is full of revenge but has neither any allies nor any spacecraft to start his personal war against the Gavanians. Ryu and Baru come to his aid, the first an expert and very wise fighter and the second a clumsy ape-man and spaceship pilot. The three are joined by Tonto, a talking robot that Ryu wins during a knife throwing contest on a planet in the solar system. A mysterious princess who travels aboard a spaceship, Sofia, also comes to help Hayato, who gives Hayato and his friends a large combat spaceship, the Li She. They then begin their travels between the planets of the solar system to annihilate every form of Gavanians, who continually take poor human beings prisoner planet by planet. |
The Diecast merchandising of the series was made by the POPY .
Popy got the rights and reproduced the spacecraft that appear in the series. They are not very sought after and are reasonably priced.

The series takes place in space and the protagonists use various vehicles:
COMET FIRE: Fighter spaceship piloted by Ryo and sometimes Hayato
GALAXY RUNNER: Fighter spaceship piloted by Baru
SPACE LIABE: Spaceship given by Princess Sofia to Hayato to fight. It is the means by which they move for their longer journeys.
PREASTAR: Space ship on which Princess Sofia travels, a character who often intervenes to help Hayato
SPACE SAUCER: Spaceship on which Tonto travels in space and with which he occasionally carries out operational missions

Hayato
Hayato, a space pilot whose father, mother and younger sister are killed by the terrible Gavanians. With the help of various characters he meets along the way such as Ryo Baru tonto and Princess Sofia, Hayato puts together a strong team of space politicians and begins to fight against the Gavanians, tyrants of space .
Ryu
An expert and very wise fighter, she supports Hayato in his fight against the Gavanians.
Baru
A clumsy ape-man and spaceship pilot, he joins Hayato and Ryo in their fight against the Gavanians.
