Robot 110: Il Robot Solidale
Robot 110 (Robot 110-ban) è una serie televisiva per bambini (tokusatsu) prodotta dalla Toei e trasmessa per 37 puntate nel 1977. La storia racconta le vicende di un simpatico robot costruito interamente con pezzi di scarto recuperati da un laboratorio. Nonostante le sue origini umili, il robot è dotato di una spiccata personalità e di un grande sogno: raccogliere abbastanza denaro per costruire un nuovo laboratorio professionale per il suo creatore. Per raggiungere questo obiettivo, Robot 110 si dedica a svolgere i lavori più disparati, aiutando gli umani in situazioni quotidiane.
Il merchandising diecast della serie fu realizzato dalla ditta Popy all’interno della linea Chogokin. Il protagonista è rappresentato dal modello Gangaragan (GA-53): un robot dal caratteristico colore arancione con una grande “G” azzurra sul petto. Fedele alla serie, il diecast riflette la capacità del robot di trasformarsi in elicottero o in automobile. Sebbene la serie sia meno conosciuta rispetto ai grandi classici, il GA-53 è oggi un pezzo piuttosto raro e ricercato dai collezionisti per la sua particolarità tecnica.

Robot 110: The Helpful Robot
