WINGMAN – Il Guerriero dei Sogni

Tratto dal manga di Masakazu Katsura, Wingman racconta il sogno di Kenta Hirono che diventa realtà grazie al Dream Note. Insieme alla principessa Aoi e all’amica Miku, il paladino della giustizia combatte lo stregone Rimeru. La serie mescola abilmente azione sci-fi e commedia scolastica, restando un cult degli anni ’80.

Il merchandising diecast, prodotto da POPY, include il modello GC-21 dedicato al protagonista. Tuttavia, il pezzo forte della collezione è il Winner II DX (PC-46), la moto trasformabile che rappresenta uno dei diecast più rari e costosi da reperire sul mercato del collezionismo vintage a causa della sua complessità e tiratura.

WINGMAN – 47 PUNTATE – 1984

Wingman (Yume Senshi Wingman) è un manga di genere fantascientifico di Masakazu Katsura. Serializzato per 13 volumi suWeekly Shonen Jump, dall’1983 all’1985, è stato successivamente adattato in una serie d’animazione di 47 episodi della Toei Animation. L’anime è giunto in Italia tramite la Mondo Home Entertainment nel 2002, e trasmesso su varie emittenti private a partire dal 2005.

 
Il giovane Hirono Kenta sogna di poter essere un supereroe, come quelli di cui legge le gesta sui fumetti o quelli che egli stesso inventa e disegna. Addirittura Kenta si è creato un vero e proprio costume da paladino della giustizia, battezzandosi col il nome di “Wingman”. Poi un giorno il destino gli fa incontrare la graziosa Yume Aoi, principessa del regno dei sogni Botorem, che ha con sé il magico “dream note”, un blocchetto degli appunti dotato del potere di far diventare realtà qualunque cosa venga disegnata in esso. Kenta decide di rendere realtà il proprio sogno di diventare Wingman grazie al “dream note”, ed insieme ad Aoi e alla sua amica di infanzia Miku, decidono di salvare Botorem dal malvagio Rimeru, il cui fine ultimo è impadronirsi proprio del “dream note”. E mentre è impegnato a salvare Botorem, Kenta dovrà anche prendere una decisione su chi fra Miku e Aoi vuole avere per sempre al proprio fianco.

Anime poco conosciuto destinato ad un pubblico giovane. Toys poco ricercati, anche se la moto trasformabile è molto rara e costosa da trovare.

WINGMAN – Dream Warrior Wingman

Based on the manga by Masakazu Katsura, Wingman tells the story of Kenta Hirono’s dream coming true thanks to the Dream Note. Alongside Princess Aoi and his friend Miku, the champion of justice fights the sorcerer Rimeru. The series masterfully blends sci-fi action with school comedy, remaining an 80s cult classic.

The diecast merchandising, produced by POPY, includes the GC-21 model dedicated to the protagonist. However, the highlight of the collection is the Winner II DX (PC-46), the transforming motorcycle which is one of the rarest and most expensive diecast pieces to find in the vintage market due to its complexity and limited availability.

WINGMAN – 47 PISODES – 1984

Wingman (Yume Senshi Wingman) is a science fiction manga by Masakazu Katsura. Serialized for 13 volumes in Weekly Shonen Jump, from 1983 to 1985, it was later adapted into an animated series of 47 episodes by Toei Animation. The anime arrived in Italy via Mondo Home Entertainment in 2002, and broadcast on various private channels starting in 2005.

 
Young Hirono Kenta dreams of being a superhero, like those whose exploits he reads about in comics or those he invents and draws himself. Kenta has even created a real costume for himself as a champion of justice, calling himself “Wingman”. Then one day fate makes him meet the pretty Yume Aoi, princess of the kingdom of dreams Botorem, who has with her the magical “dream note”, a notebook with the power to make anything drawn in it come true. Kenta decides to make his dream of becoming a Wingman come true thanks to the “dream note”, and together with Aoi and his childhood friend Miku, they decide to save Botorem from the evil Rimeru, whose ultimate goal is to get hold of the “dream note”. And while he is busy saving Botorem, Kenta will also have to make a decision about who between Miku and Aoi he wants to have by his side forever.

Little known anime aimed at a young audience. Little sought after toys, although the transforming motorcycle is very rare and expensive to find.
