Daioja: L’Invincibile Sovrano di Edon
Andata in onda in Giappone nel 1981, Saikyo Robo Daioja è una serie Sunrise che vede il principe Mito viaggiare per la galassia. Per ristabilire la giustizia, il team unisce tre robot — Ace Reder, Aoider e Cobalter — nel potentissimo Daioja.
Nel collezionismo vintage, la licenza è legata storicamente alla Clover. Il pezzo più iconico è il DX Daioja, un set in metallo che permette la trasformazione completa dei tre moduli. Celebre per il design regale e la scomposizione laterale, il Daioja Clover è oggi un pezzo molto ricercato per la sua qualità diecast e l’estetica tipica dei primi anni ’80. Trovare questo modello completo di scatola e accessori originali rappresenta un traguardo importante per ogni appassionato di robot d’epoca.

| DIOGIA– 50 PUNTATE – 1981 |
La storia narra le vicissitudini di Mito, principe di Edon, che governa 51 stelle del Sistema di Ipron. Egli viaggia sotto mentite spoglie tra i mondi da lui governati in compagnia di due fedeli attendenti. Nel momento in cui scopre abusi di potere e vessazioni nei confronti dei suoi sudditi, per punire i malvagi amministratori, si rivela utilizzando il Daioja, il Super Robot della famiglia imperiale, nato dalla unione di tre robot. L’anime si ispira liberamente, reinterpretandola in chiave fantascientifica, alla figura storica di Mitsukuni Tokugawa (Mitokomon), nobile erudito che amava vestirsi da contadino e girare per il suo feudo controllando di nascosto l’effettiva amministrazione della giustizia da parte dei vassalli e che, di fronte alla presenza di malversazioni, si rivelava punendo l’infedele amministratore. |

I diecast realizzati dalla Clover sono tutti ben progettati, si tratta in generale di un linea costosa da acquistare.
Attualmente i diecast della ditta CLOVER non sono ancora stati catalogati nell’ Enciclopedia dei Diecast. Il volume è in fase di realizzazione.

Diogia è il node del robot risulta dalla combinazione di tre mecha d’aspetto antropomorfico: Ace Redder (il robot pilotato da Mito), Aoider (il robot pilotato dal fedele Suke) e Cobalter (il robot pilotato dal fedele Kaku). Ognuno dei robot ha sul petto un simbolo a forma di foglia stilizzata: unendosi i robot si riuniscono anche questi, così da formare un simbolo più grande che ricorda quello dell’antica e potente famiglia giapponese dei Tokugawa. |

Edward Mito
14 anni, principe ereditario di un enorme impero stellare a cui fanno capo 51 pianeti. Decide di compiere un viaggio per valutare con i propri occhi la condizione generale dei diversi pianeti. Lo fa sotto falsa identità. Viaggia su un’atronave e pilota un robot, il Diogia,grazie al quale, la pace del pianeta visitato viene finalmente ristabilita. .
Suke
Fedele servitore del principe Mito. E’ un maestro spadaccino e ha i capelli afro. Serve come educatore del principe. Sebbene sia cauto e abbia buon senso, è molto esigente col principe.Pilota uno dei tre robot che co pongono il Diogia chiamato Aoider.
Kaku
È un tipo gentile e forte con un fisico molto rubusto. E’ l’istruttore di spada del principe. Sebbene sia un uomo grosso, è esperto in tutti i tipi di arti marziali ed è esperto non solo nell’arte della spada ma anche nel combattimento.Pilota uno dei tre robot che co pongono il Diogia chiamato Cobalter. ,
Durante il suo viaggio, il protagonista incontra in ogni pianeta che visita i governatori locali scoprendo che per lo più sono malvagi e corrotti. Dopo essersi rivevato ed aver utilizzato il Diogia fa tornare la pace sul pianeta.
Daioja: The Invincible Sovereign of Edon
Aired in Japan in 1981, Saikyo Robo Daioja is a Sunrise series following Prince Mito’s journey. To fight evil, the team combines three specialized robots — Ace Reder, Aoider, and Cobalter — into the massive super robot Daioja.
In the vintage toy market, the series is a flagship for Clover. The most prized item is the DX Daioja combiner set, a heavy diecast figure featuring full transformation and unique magnetic joints. Finding this model in Mint in Box (MIB) condition, with all its original weapons and chest emblems, is a key objective for collectors of early 80s Japanese robots.

The story tells the adventures of Mito, prince of Edon, who rules 51 stars of the Ipron System. He travels in disguise between the worlds he governs in the company of two faithful attendants. When he discovers abuses of power and harassment of his subjects, to punish the evil administrators, he reveals himself using the Daioja, the Super Robot of the imperial family, born from the union of three robots. The anime is freely inspired, reinterpreting it in a science fiction key, by the historical figure of Mitsukuni Tokugawa (Mitokomon), a noble scholar who loved to dress as a peasant and go around his fiefdom secretly checking the actual administration of justice by the vassals and who, faced with the presence of embezzlement, revealed himself by punishing the unfaithful administrator. |

The diecast models made by Clover are all well designed, in general it is an expensive line to purchase.
Currently the company’s diecasts CLOVER have not yet been catalogued in the Diecast Encyclopedia. The volume is in progress.

Diogia is the robot node resulting from the combination of three anthropomorphic looking mecha: Ace Redder (the robot piloted by Mito), Aoider (the robot piloted by the faithful Suke) and Cobalter (the robot piloted by the faithful Kaku). Each of the robots has a stylized leaf-shaped symbol on their chest: when the robots join together, they also join together, forming a larger symbol that recalls that of the ancient and powerful Japanese family of Tokugawa. |

Edward Mito
14 years old, crown prince of a huge stellar empire that controls 51 planets. He decides to take a trip to assess with his own eyes the general condition of the different planets. He does so under a false identity. He travels on a spaceship and pilots a robot, the Diogia, thanks to which, peace on the visited planet is finally re-established. .
Suke
Faithful servant of Prince Mito. He is a master swordsman and has afro hair. He serves as the prince’s educator. Although he is cautious and has common sense, he is very demanding with the prince. He pilots one of the three robots that make up the Diogy called Aoider.
Kaku
He is a kind and strong guy with a very sturdy physique. He is the prince’s sword instructor. Although he is a large man, he is skilled in all types of martial arts and is skilled not only in swordsmanship but also in fighting. He pilots one of the three robots that make up the Diogy called Cobalter.
During his journey, the protagonist meets local rulers on each planet he visits, discovering that most of them are evil and corrupt. After recovering and using the Diogia, he restores peace to the planet.
