Ginguizer: Magia e Tecnologia in Fusione
Ginguizer rappresenta un esperimento affascinante nel mondo dei robot anni ’70, dove i trucchi magici e i simboli delle carte da gioco diventano armi contro gli invasori spaziali.
A differenza dei classici Popy, i modelli di Ginguizer portano la firma della Takemi, una ditta che ha saputo creare pezzi dal carattere unico. I modelli ST e Mini sono la base di ogni collezione, ma il vero prestigio risiede nelle versioni DX trasformabili di Gran Fighter e Spin Lancer. In questa sezione di Robot Vintage, analizziamo la produzione Takemi, inclusa la storia del Bull Gator DX, il “grande assente” che rende la caccia a questa serie ancora più intrigante per i veri archivisti del diecast.

| GINGUISER- GINGUIZER– 26 PUNTATE – 1977 |
L’impero alieno dei Sazoriani invade la Terra con enormi mostri meccanici al fine di ritrovare le tre “sfere di Anderes”. Queste sfere furono create 20.000 anni prima dagli stessi Sazoriani per concentrare l’energia della costellazione dello Scorpione e sconfiggere i Plasmani, altro popolo alieno, contro il quale essi sostennero una lunga guerra spaziale che vide il suo ultimo atto svolgersi proprio sulla Terra. Per contrastare gli invasori, il dottor Godo, ultimo discendente degli alieni Plasman costruisce il robot Ginguiser e lo affida a quattro ragazzi dotati di poteri magici (il “punto barriera”) ovvero Goro Shigoron, Miki Akitsu, Torajiro Haranami e Zanda, (e perciò in grado di pilotare Ginguiser) e che girano il mondo con il loro spettacolo ambulante di magia. Il robot è il risultato dell’unione, piuttosto complessa, di tre veicoli: Spin Lancer, Grand Fighter e Bull Gaiter. |

Diecast realizzati dalla ditta Takemi, i 3 robot pilotati dai protagonisti sono stati realizzati in versione Mini ed in versione standard. Solo dei robot Gran Fighter e dello Spin Lancer sono state realizzare le versioni deluxe trasformabili (rare e molto costose) mentre a causa delle scarse vendite non fu mai realizzata la versione deluxe del Bull Gator.
Attualmente i diecast della ditta TAKEMI non sono ancora stati catalogati nell’ Enciclopedia dei Diecast. Il volume è in fase di realizzazione.

è il mezzo che risulta dalla trasformazione della motrice di un ottovolante. Rappresenta il seme di fiori ed è pilotato da Tora. Il Bull gator si trasforma un veicolo per le montagne russe. |

Velivolo ottenuto dall’unione delle componenti che gli altri tre veicoli abbandonano per trasformarsi in robot: il rimorchio del Grand Fighter i propulsori laterali provenienti dallo Spin Lancer e la sezione cabinata del Bull Gator, che diventa il muso di Air Roin. |
Goro Shirogon
Leader del team che pilota il Ginguiser, deve la vita al professor Godo il quale, anni addietro, gli salvò la vita durante un incidente aereo. In seguito gli conferì gli insegnamenti necessari ad usare la tecnica del “punto barriera”. E’ il pilota del Gran Fighter
Miki Akitsu
Unica ragazza del gruppo, assiste Goro negli spettacoli di magia itineranti come presentatrice ed è la copilota del Grand Fighter.
Torajiro Aranami
Altro personaggio caratteristico degli anime di genere. È il goffo e robusto pilota del Bull Gator, anche se spesso è costretto a restare alla base per migliorare le proprie capacità.
Zanta Minami
Il piccoletto del gruppo, pilota dello Spin Lancer. Fa spesso compagnia a Tora presso la base del dottor Godo, senza mancare di dimostrare il suo valore in combattimento.
Dott. Godo
Esimio scienziato, capo della base del Ginguiser (Il castello della Magia), guida i ragazzi che pilotano il potente robot. È l’ultimo discendente dell’antico popolo spaziale dei Plasmani che 20mila anni prima giunsero sulla Terra per combattere contro i Sazoriani. Grazie alla sua abilità nelle arti magiche, difende assieme al team del Ginguiser la pace sulla Terra.

Ginguizer: The Magic Steel Giant

The Takemi diecast line is the primary source for collectors, offering distinct ST, Mini, and DX versions. While the DX Gran Fighter and Spin Lancer are masterpieces of 1970s engineering with full transformation capabilities, the Bull Gator DX remains the most famous unproduced toy of the series. Exploring the Ginguizer archive provides a deep dive into the world of alternative manufacturers like Takemi, who challenged the giants of the industry with bold and imaginative toy designs.

The alien empire of the Sazorians invades Earth with enormous mechanical monsters in order to find the three “spheres of Anderes”. These spheres were created 20,000 years earlier by the Sazorians themselves to concentrate the energy of the Scorpio constellation and defeat the Plasmans, another alien people, against whom they fought a long space war that saw its final act take place right on Earth. To counter the invaders, Dr. Godo, the last descendant of the Plasman aliens, builds the Ginguiser robot and entrusts it to four boys with magical powers (the “barrier point”), namely Goro Shigoron, Miki Akitsu, Torajiro Haranami and Zanda, (and therefore able to pilot Ginguiser) and who travel the world with their traveling magic show. The robot is the result of the rather complex union of three vehicles: Spin Lancer, Grand Fighter and Bull Gaiter. |
The Diecast merchandising of the series was made by the company TAKEMI .
Diecast made by the Takemi company, the 3 robots piloted by the protagonists were made in Mini version and in standard version. Only the Gran Fighter and Spin Lancer robots were made in transformable deluxe versions (rare and very expensive) while due to poor sales the deluxe version of the Bull Gator was never made.
Currently the company’s diecasts TAKEMI have not yet been catalogued in the Diecast Encyclopedia. The volume is in progress.

It is the vehicle that results from the transformation of a roller coaster’s engine. It represents the flower seed and is driven by Tora. The Bull Gator transforms into a roller coaster vehicle. |

Aircraft obtained by uniting the components that the other three vehicles abandon to transform into robots: the trailer of the Grand Fighter, the lateral thrusters from the Spin Lancer and the cabin section of the Bull Gator, which becomes the nose of Air Roin. |
Goro Shirogon
Leader of the team that pilots the Ginguiser, he owes his life to Professor Godo who, years ago, saved his life during a plane crash. He later gave him the teachings necessary to use the “barrier point” technique. He is the pilot of the Gran Fighter
Miki Akitsu
The only girl in the group, she assists Goro in traveling magic shows as a presenter and is the co-pilot of the Grand Fighter.
Torajiro Aranami
Another typical character of the anime genre. He is the clumsy and sturdy pilot of the Bull Gator, although he is often forced to stay at the base to improve his skills.
Zanta Minami
The little guy of the group, pilot of the Spin Lancer. He often keeps Tora company at Dr. Godo’s base, never failing to prove his worth in combat.
Dott. Godo
A distinguished scientist, head of the Ginguiser base (The Castle of Magic), he leads the boys who pilot the powerful robot. He is the last descendant of the ancient space people of the Plasmani who 20 thousand years ago came to Earth to fight against the Sazorians. Thanks to his skill in the magical arts, he defends peace on Earth together with the Ginguiser team.
