Sasuraiger: Il Treno Spaziale del Destino
Ginga Shippu Sasuraiger (銀河疾風サスライガー) è una serie anime prodotta nel 1983. Ambientata nell’anno 2911, narra la scommessa di I.C. Blues: visitare 50 pianeti in un solo anno. Al comando del robot trasformabile Sasuraiger, che assume la forma di un treno spaziale, il gruppo JJ9 deve sfidare il sindacato criminale Bloody God per vincere la sfida e proteggere la propria libertà.
Il merchandising diecast fu curato dalla Takatoku Toys. Il modello principale è il Batrain C-3 SL Type, noto per la sua complessa trasformazione. Furono prodotte anche varianti come la Real Color Version e la linea TV-83X. Sebbene lo scarso successo commerciale abbia contribuito al fallimento dell’azienda, questi modelli restano oggi pezzi molto apprezzati dai collezionisti per il loro design originale e la loro importanza storica nel settore dei giocattoli in metallo.

Nell’anno 2911 il sistema solare conta 50 pianeti. I.C Blues, un imbroglione al casinò effettua una scommessa con un boss di un sindacato criminale conosciuto come Bloody God: secondo lui è possibile viaggiare in tutti i pianeti in meno di un anno. Per questa scommessa I.C Blues con il suo gruppo utilizza un super robot capace di trasformarsi in un treno, il nome di questo robot è Sasuraiger. Appena iniziata la scommessa il sindacato farà tutto il possibile per non permettere al protagonista di vincere la sua scommessa. |

Serie che ha riscosso poco successo e la conseguente scarsa vendita di diecast (sommata a quelle di Orguss e Beetras) portò di li a poco la Takatoku al fallimento.

Treno spaziale privato tipo locomotiva a vapore J9-III è un grande robot con una lunghezza totale di 22,55 metri e un peso di 72,5 tonnellate che si trasforma al grido di “Take Suspension On”. A differenza di Brygar e Baxinger dei due giochi precedenti, non utilizza il sistema Synchron, quindi non diventa gigantesco quando si trasforma ed è più piccolo. Inoltre, il suo equipaggiamento principale era un fucile a raggi e una pistola gatling a raggi, e non è equipaggiato con armi da corpo a corpo. |

Un’oscura organizzazione criminale. Le fonti di finanziamento spaziano dalla gestione dei casinò alle partite truccate, alla gestione delle miniere utilizzando il lavoro forzato dei residenti e allo sviluppo e alla produzione di stimolanti. I principali sindacati sono il “Bloody Syndicate”, il più grande del sistema solare guidato da Brady, il “Graham Syndicate” guidato da Graham Bigg il cui territorio è il Mare del Pianeta Verde, e il “Tarantula Syndicate” guidato da Asteroid Queen e basato su l’asteroide Tarantula nel Sindacato Nord” ecc.
