Tetsujin 28 (Meisaku): Il Primo Gigante di Ferro

Tetsujin 28-go è il capostipite del genere dei robot giganti, nato dal manga di Mitsuteru Yokoyama e trasposto in una leggendaria serie animata in bianco e nero nel 1963. La trama è ambientata nel dopoguerra giapponese: il robot, caratterizzato da un design massiccio, tozzo e tondeggiante, era stato originariamente costruito dal Dr. Kaneda come arma segreta per l’esercito imperiale. Dopo la guerra, il figlio del creatore, il giovanissimo Shotaro Kaneda, ne prende il controllo tramite un telecomando a distanza. Insieme all’ispettore Otsuka e al Dr. Shikishima, Shotaro utilizza la potenza devastante del Tetsujin per combattere criminali, scienziati pazzi e altri robot giganti, diventando un simbolo di giustizia e pace.

Il merchandising Diecast della serie, prodotto dalla ditta POPY all’interno della linea “Meisaku” (Capolavori), ha come pezzo fondamentale il GA-63. Questo modello celebra il design classico e “vintage” del robot, rispettando le proporzioni tondeggianti che lo hanno reso celebre. Realizzato con un’altissima percentuale di metallo, il GA-63 è un pezzo storico che rende omaggio alle radici del genere mecha. A differenza delle versioni successive più slanciate, questo diecast cattura perfettamente l’essenza del robot degli anni ’60, con una verniciatura blu profonda e una solidità costruttiva che lo ha reso un oggetto di culto assoluto per i collezionisti di tutto il mondo.

TETSUJIN 28 – 97 PUNTATE – 1963
Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人２８号 Tetsujin Nijūhachi-gō?, lit. “Iron Man No. 28”) è un manga del 1956 scritto e disegnato da Mitsuteru Yokoyama , che ha anche creato Giant Robo . La serie incentrata sulle avventure di un giovane ragazzo di nome Shotaro Kaneda , che controllava un gigantesco robot di nome Tetsujin 28 , costruito da suo padre. E’ stato successivamente adattato in serie TV in quattro anime L’incarnazione 1963 televisivo di Super Robot 28 in onda su Fuji TV dal 20 ottobre 1963 al 25 maggio 1966. La serie inizialmente si è conclusa con 84 episodi , ma poi rinviato per altri 13 , per un totale di 97 episodi . La serie ha avuto per lo più brevi trame che non hanno più di tre episodi , ma era generalmente più leggero rispetto al anime.

Tetsujin 28 (Meisaku): The First Iron Giant

Tetsujin 28-go is the forefather of the giant robot genre, born from Mitsuteru Yokoyama’s manga and adapted into a legendary black-and-white animated series in 1963. The story is set in post-war Japan: the robot, characterized by its massive, stocky, and rounded design, was originally built by Dr. Kaneda as a secret weapon for the Imperial Army. After the war, the creator’s young son, Shotaro Kaneda, takes control of it via a remote control unit. Alongside Inspector Otsuka and Dr. Shikishima, Shotaro uses Tetsujin’s devastating power to fight criminals, mad scientists, and other giant robots, becoming a symbol of justice and peace.

The Diecast merchandising for the series, produced by POPY under the “Meisaku” (Masterpiece) line, features the GA-63 as its cornerstone piece. This model celebrates the robot’s classic, vintage design, respecting the rounded proportions that made it famous. Made with a very high percentage of metal, the GA-63 is a historical piece that pays tribute to the roots of the mecha genre. Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人２８号 Tetsujin Nijūhachi-gō?, lit. “Iron Man No. 28”) is a 1956 manga written and illustrated by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, who also created Giant Robo. The series centered on the adventures of a young boy named Shotaro Kaneda, who controlled a giant robot named Tetsujin 28, built by his father. It was later adapted into a four-part anime TV series. The 1963 television incarnation of Super Robot 28 aired on Fuji TV from October 20, 1963, to May 25, 1966. The series initially ended with 84 episodes, but was then extended for another 13, for a total of 97 episodes. The series mostly had short storylines lasting no more than three episodes, but was generally lighter than the anime.
